Nice hotel overall. Just didn't like that i had to pay for things like breakfast, internet had i not signed up for Hilton honors. No microwave in room. Had to pay for parking in outside parking lot.
Didn't like what I wrote in other box
We, husband and two kids, arrived here 3 days ago. The second day, my husband noticed dried blood on the floor and a bunch of spiderweb. I went to ask front desk to clean the room again pointing at the exact concerns. I also asked for extra towels. When we came back, the beds were made, but we didn't get extra towels. In fact, we were left with only two bath towels. The blood spatter (or whatever the hell that was) nor the spiderweb was cleaned. The heat/AC switch was sticky and noticeably dirty. So was the mirror and bathroom and front doors. The dining area had a TON of alive AND dead potato bugs. It's a shame.
Our family checked in after a long day at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor on July 11. Everything started off just as expected—quiet, smooth, and with an easy check-in experience.
We headed out for dinner at Golden Corral, but just as I took my first bite, the power went out. It turned out the outage had affected the entire area, including our hotel. After waiting a couple of hours in hopes that power would be restored, we ultimately decided it was best to check out.
The reason for my review, however, isn’t the power outage—those things happen and were completely outside the hotel’s control. It’s to recognize the outstanding professionalism of the staff during a very challenging situation.
A special thank you to Maddie (or Madelyn) at the front desk. She handled an incredibly stressful situation with patience, professionalism, and kindness while trying to assist what I imagine were many concerned guests. I can only imagine the pressure she was under, yet she continued doing everything she could to provide the best service possible.
Thank you, Maddie, and thank you to the entire team. Even though the circumstances were beyond anyone’s control, your dedication and professionalism did not go unnoticed.
Spacious clean nice atmosphere I enjoyed and will come again
I seen a few ants in one of the beds and in the bathroom
