The rooms were very large and well equipped, staff very friendly

Cons:

The doors are very heavy so it is impossible not to be startled by people leaving their room. The doors slam very loudly at all times if the morning and night. We had a late check out for a lie in but the cleaner in the room next door was bashing the hoover off the wall from 7:30/8am

Pros:

Great breakfast with plenty of selection. Staff were friendly, good sized room. Liked having the fridge to keep water cool. It wasn’t too far a walk from the station. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic but needs a new toaster
Pros:

Happy with everything in the room and bar/restaurant. Staff are lovely.

Cons:

Was unceremoniously woken at 6.30am by the fire alarm, which of course is great it's working. I had noticed a sign at the toaster in the restaurant, 'only put bread through once'. On asking at reception on checkout I asked what caused the fire and apparently someone burnt the toast. C'mon guys one toaster shouldn't be holding the whole hotel to ransom.. replacement required perhaps?

Pleasant stay in a good hotel.
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant.

Cons:

Hotel had every evening a very large group of guests from a tour. They dominated the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
