Great stay at Copthorn
Pros:

Really nice hotel, was impressed with my room & cleanliness, will stay again! Was sorry I only had one night there!

Room was very warm, heating was not on!

Pros:

Good location with Union Street a 5 minute walk away. Looks nothing from the outside but larger than it first appears.

Cons:

No parking although there is a car park across the street. No discount whilst staying at the hotel.

It was a warm room for the night

Cons:

Having to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs from the road and no access to onsite parking. We couldn’t believe the reception staff told us no tissues are provided and we should use toilet paper for tissues. Ridiculous

Pros:

10 minutes walking distance from the city center. Clean room, big & comfy bed. We paid breakfast extra and it was good, with staff also catering for gluten intolerance - by providing gf bread. They also provided almond milk and cooked eggs separately, catering for dairy allergens.

Cons:

The hotel has no parking facilities, nor an arrangement with the opposite car park, which we had to pay additionally & separately.

Pleasant stay in a nice hotel central to most tourist locations.
Pros:

Lovely room with a nice en-suite. Hotel was clean and modern and we appreciated the lift to our floor as we had a lot of baggage. The food at breakfast was very nice and the evening meal in the restaurant was good too with plenty of choice on the menu.

Cons:

Breakfast bar was very cramped, only one coffee machine led to long queues. Staff pleasant and did their best but were clearly overwhelmed at busy times and struggled to keep up bringing fresh food out or cleaning and preparing tables for arriving guests.
