The hotel was close to everything
Overall great stay. We were selected as Guest of The Day by Richard for my birthday which was a great surprise with sweet treats breakfast and drink Nice view of the River. overall great stay. will return again
I booked a room at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside from May 4 through 7 for a conference I was attending. In the reservation I made, I noted I have a severe allergy to dust mites, which leads to anaphylaxis.
The Tuesday prior to my stay, I called the hotel to confirm they could accommodate my needs, and I was reassured they could. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told they could not accommodate my needs and did not have a room for me, and asked to clarify what I meant by "Hypoallergenic."
When I learned this, I asked to speak to the manager on duty, and spent the next 20 minutes waiting to see if the property could make a room work. They could not. I asked if he would be willing to call another hotel to see if they could accommodate me, and he declined. He was indifferent.
I then spent the next six hours searching for a hotel that could accommodate me, and eventually found the Hilton Garden Inn. Hotel Managers at two other hotels tried to help me, but the manager at the Hilton declined.
They apparently couldn't care less.
Doy in the guest services department is amazing! He did a great job assisting my mom with booking a future trip to Sedona, Arizona. He is extremely personable and very knowledgeable about Hilton and the different travel options available
Liv at the Junction was amazing - went above and beyond on a unique order. She could not have been any nicer, professional and incredibly helpful! Yea Liv!
Clean and friendly service
Nothing
close to an event we were attending. secure parking garage on site. felt safe. very friendly staff.
I feel the price was a little steep, but for safety it was okay.
Great hotel. Nice room, amazing view, comfy bed, super bathroom products. Deajah at check in was marvelous, so helpful and informative. I had stayed here before and would recommend.
Nice spacious room and convenient to restaurants
Room was large and beautiful.
Price of the room was very expensive. It was more than I expected.
Amazing customer service! Shawanda was amazing and very helpful!
The hotel had many gluten free options at the breakfast buffet. They had homemade gluten free chocolate muffins, blueberry pound cake, bread and bagels. They also had a dedicated toaster for gluten free items. The remainder of the buffet items had GF designations if they were gluten free. It is difficult to travel with celiac disease, so I usually resort to protein bars. The server Claudia was super friendly and assured me the items were gluten free.
Very convenient location to cruise port
The room was nice enough. Wasn’t here long enough to use any of the facilities or amenities. But what in the heck is up with housekeeping? This is pretty universal, not just here, but this was particularly egregious. I had a 2 PM late checkout. I had my do not disturb sign on the door. But yet they start banging on the door at 9:45 in the morning. Even regular checkout is at 11. how about some communication between the front desk and housekeeping as to who’s checking out when, instead of banging on a door that is marked do not disturb to ask the customer when they are checking out?????
I was in town for a conference and Richard at the front desk was unbelievably kind. So helpful and funny. Top notch employee
Chris was big in assisting me with getting settled and responding quickly to my questions.
