The location of the hotel is fine.
Only 1 elevator was functioning, too much time was lost every day just going up and down. Management did not address this situation. Speaking with other guests, this seems to be a recurrent issue.
The hotel has visibly not been renovated in a long time, everything feels old and chabby. Air Conditioning is unacceptably noisy.
This is a well used property and the staff managed to keep it clean and were very efficient in the restaurant and cafes.
The elevators were a disaster, some didn’t work and we had to use the house keeping elevator or the stairs!
Signage asked for our patience while they were updating the system but according to past visitors it was the same last year. Not acceptable for a hotel that has such a large patronage. The hotel was full of people attending the US Open, people shouldn’t have to wait for five minutes or more and then take the stairs. At times the stairwell was full of people and it felt like an evacuation.
