This was our first time staying here and truly enjoyed everything. The rooms have been beautifully updated, are spacious and comfortable. Having a private balcony was so nice! We ate at the restaurants on the property and would highly recommend. You can’t beat the location. We will be staying here again.

The moment we walked, everyone was so helpful and made us feel extremely comfortable! We ran into Christina in the lobby! She’s phenomenal and extremely friendly! She’s very informative and very humble.

We were in an end room that picked up a great amount of street noise at night. Would ask for a room on the other end next time. Hall way to the room smelled like sewer gas. Slightly noticeable in the room but once you smell it it’s there.

The rooms were good, the hotel was nice, but the service and hospitality was really what shined. We had a small mishap with valet as they broke my apartment key fob. They did however go above and beyond to make things right. Definitely trust this establishment to take care of my family.

The Team at the Hilton Palacio Del Rio in San Antonio were outstanding. Very good service and hotel was perfect. Even though we had an issue with my Jeep accessories on my roof being broke, they made it right by replacing the broken accessories.
Kevin the Director of Transportation and his team were very professional and treated us like stars! I will be back and I cant say enough how awesome this stay was for us.

I had a great experience at this Hilton, and a big part of that was thanks to Rebecca.
After checking in (they were kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which was already a great start), I met Rebecca in the lobby. She was sharing a Hilton Honors promotion, and honestly this was one of the best interactions I’ve had with a hotel rep.
She offered free points just for chatting and explained an excellent deal for a future stay. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable without being pushy at all. Everything was explained clearly, and I never felt pressured, just genuinely informed.
Rebecca made the experience feel personal and positive, and she’s a great ambassador for the Hilton brand.
Writing to applaud the excellent customer service at Hilton Palacio del Rio. I attended a conference and forgot jewelry in the room. I called the hotel (#1 - you can actually contact a real person, which can be rare these days) and they immediately found the jewelry and called me back to confirm. Hilton does use a third-party (Chargerback) to process its lost and found so you have to go through an on-line data collection site BUT the people at the hotel were amazing. They're the ones who actually had to find the jewelry and ensure it was mailed. Checked out on a Saturday and had the jewelry back (via USPS) on Wednesday.
Also - when I first arrived - someone asked for my car keys to park my car. I didn't give them the keys, and mentioned this when I checked in. The gentleman who checked me in actually accompanied me back to determine if the person who asked for my car keys was part of the hotel's valet-parking team. Impressive!!
The hotel room was lovely and the hotel overlooks the Riverwalk. It's a block from the Convention Center, convenient...but the warm, friendly, and effective customer service is what stands out!! It's the type of personal service one might take for granted at a pricey boutique hotel, so full props to the folks at Hilton Palacio del Rio who are delivering first-class customer service.
