I loved that the room was beautiful, it was easy to check in and that it is in the middle of downtown Norfolk. The bed was very comfortable and the staff is very sweet and friendly.
Not sure why but my room felt very warm and I tried lowering it but it was very warm.

I liked how clean and bright the property is. Most hotels lighting is pretty dull
When I checked in the customer service wasn’t bad, but it was mediocre to say the least. It almost felt like I didn’t deserve the same great customer service others would receive because I was a black woman. The reviews for customer service were great but I didn’t feel like I got that same great service. When I checked out there were 2 employees at the counter gossiping, and as I was walking up I figured they move out of the way so that I can properly check out, but that didn’t happen. I ended up checking out on the side of the counter.

Property was in a great location. Room was clean. I stayed in room 520 and it was quiet the entire weekend. Room smelled amazing and was clean overall. Hotel was walking distance to all major attractions. Parking garage right next door was convenient.
The pricing was crazy for the weekend! Almost double compared to the following weekend. :-( Would have appreciated a run down of what was on offer at check in. Hours for bar/restaurant etc.
We had a wonderful stay at the Glass Light Hotel in Norfolk. This is a fantastic boutique hotel with a beautiful ambiance, excellent staff, and comfortable, well-appointed rooms. One of the highlights was the stunning glass artwork created by the owner's mother, which added the perfect touch of whimsy to the hotel's tasteful, elegant décor. Every detail made the stay feel special. We would absolutely stay here again - 100% recommended!

Very clean, gorgeous room, exceptionally helpful and friendly staff.
Bed was a little uncomfy but not horrible.
The staff were lovely. The location is great for walking to restaurants and the waterfront. Loved the artwork in the lobby.
The room could have been a bit cleaner. The bathroom window doesn’t have shades, so the room stays quite bright. Would have been nice if the stay included breakfast.
