Awesome place to stay!
Pros:

We had a pleasant stay. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. We has a wonderful gentleman who brought us a roll-away bed who was super nice and helpful. Our A/C was not operating up to par, so we had some wonderful engineers come to repair it. We enjoyed chatting with Anthony. The housekeeping staff were all friendly and accommodating. The gentlemen at the front entrance were always willing to lend a hand. The staff in the bar were wonderful, too. On our last last day, Mohamed Dumbuya helped us to pack up our car to leave. The hotel was clean and well kept! We would definitely recommend staying here. The staff is top notch!

Hotel was beautiful

Cons:

We booked a queen room with seating area so we would have a.bigger room. When we got to the hotel they told us they did.not have any more queen rooms so they put us in.a king room which we thought was going to have the seating area also... it did.not. when I tried to have them credit our stay they said ALL their rooms have a sitting area. They do not! The pictures on their website and your website are.not accurate. Basically false advertising. I feel I should get a credit for our stay?? On Capital Hiltons website and booking.com website i did.not see what our room had in it on the website pictures. NOT.A HAPPY CUSTOMER

Decent service
Pros:

Frank checked us in and he was very pleasant to talk to. He made sure we felt welcome. We had a nice and spacious room.
We ended up trying the breakfast buffet the next morning and were told that they no longer have the continental breakfast ( when it is still showing on the website). We finally decided on the full buffet instead but were a little bit disappointed with the service.
Our server(s) not so attentive. I asked for coffee for example: I was not offered any cream or milk. I requested cream from the server, she just reached out from a table that just left and was clearing and grabbed their left over milk for our table!

The buffet was decent for the price ! The location of the hotel is mins from many attractions such as museums.

**Exceptional Service from Frank at the Front Desk and Vic the Bell Clerk**

I recently enjoyed a wonderful 4-day stay and wanted to give special recognition to two outstanding team members who made it memorable from the very first moment: Frank at the front desk and Vic, the bell clerk.

Checking in with Frank (whom I call Frankie) was an absolute pleasure. He has this warm, genuine smile and welcoming aura that instantly puts you at ease. He made it a point to remember my name and all the details about my room. I felt completely relaxed and comfortable from the start. He assured me everything would be perfect—and he was absolutely right. He nailed it the first time. My room and the entire check-in process were flawless.

Vic, the bell clerk, was equally outstanding. He also remembered who I was and made sure everything with my luggage and room went smoothly throughout my stay. Both gentlemen clearly understand that great service starts the moment you arrive, and with every trip their personal touches set the perfect tone.

Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail truly elevated my entire experience. Thank you, Frank and Vic—you both went above and beyond and made my visit wonderful. I’ll definitely be back!

Superior Guest Service in a Central Location
Pros:

Screwed up BIG TIME and somehow booked my reservation for the 4th at another Hilton Capital Hill Hotel, but it's on Rhode Island Ave. When I called the real Capital Hilton about an upgrade, Theresa couldn't have been more accommodating and helped me through a mess. She was patient and was even helping other guests check out while she was on the phone with me. I can't thank Theresa enough for straightening me out and making sure I was booked at the correct hotel.
