Pros:

Location, cleanliness and the anesthetic of the place.

Cons:

Staff wasn't very friendly and they have absurd rules for a "pet friendly" hotel and there was not enough space for it. Also, breakfast was tasty but the presentation could be better.

super place, would stay there again.
Pros:

I love how close the beach is and Father Roosters restaurant. Love how the pool is open 24/7. Staff was great and love the decor with the rock wall.

If I return to the Guanacaste region, I would definitely stay here at Hotel Ocotal again!
Pros:

The hotel site is quiet and there is off street secure parking. The rooms have AC and the showers have hot water. The pool is clean and refreshing and there is self-service tea/coffee 24/7.
