Clean rooms
Long walk to the room with luggage and stroller was bit of a challenge
It is very close to the Corning Museum of Glass (about 5 minute drive) and walking distance (5 minutes) to the historic downtown for local shopping and food. We were lucky that our unit had a pretty nice view of the mountains in the distance. We stayed for 1 night. Overall the hotel was clean, friendly front-desk staff, and undergoing some renovations / upgrades during July 2026 so the hallways looked half-finished, but the rooms were clean and well-stocked with shared shampoo, body wash, and conditioner in a pump bottle. It had amenities: 2 restaurants and 1 swimming pool. The lobby looks like you stepped into the 1960s with the cool, somber, brutalist architecture and honey-wood tones.
The AC window unit could be quieter. It was really loud and it was running during the night because it was hot and humid during our stay. We had to wear earplugs because the unit would buzz and crackle as it ran. Another downside is that you have to use their old slow elevators (only 2 elevator cabs in the whole building) during your stay, even though the building is only 3 storeys tall. We couldn't find the stairs nearby, so we had to wait for the elevators to arrive to get from the 3rd floor to the ground floor lobby.

Location was convenient. Multiple restaurants are in walking distance.

There were exposed wires in the hallway and the rooms weren't nice
The bed was great and dinning room staff was help when I felt sick they let me order toast after breakfast hours.
It was too far for handi cap people to walk to the second building and the last room.
