Beautiful, quiet, and, as Americans, a novel experience.
Pros:

Beautiful grounds. Quiet and very clean. Locked bike storage with outlets to charge. Fuzzy bathrobes. Neat building.

Cons:

Our room could benefit from curtains. I hit my head on the door a lot, but that is not fixable without messing up the traditional feel and not the end of the world.

die beleuchtete Fluchtweganzeige an Zimmerfenster oberhalb der Zimmertür. hat meinen Schlaf verkürzt.

Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis!!
Pros:

Gäbe es doch noch viel mehr solcher exzellenten Herbergen in Deutschland.
Ein ganz perfekt unterhaltenes und architektonisch super renoviertes Gebäude! Wir waren nicht zum erstem Mal dort und danken ganz besonders, dass unser Kater mitkommen durfte.
Genießen muss man auch den so gut angelegten großen Klostergarten!

Pros:

Vor allem am Steinkreis und am Klostersee himmlische Ruhe zur Entspannung, für Yoga-Übungen. Ich war mehrfach im Kreuzgang, für Besinnlichkeit und die Wandmalerein wirken zu lassen. Das gesamte Kloster ist eine tiefgründige Erfahrung, wenn man dazu bereit und offen ist.
Das Essen ist sehr gut und das Personal kümmert sich nicht nur um Alltäglichkeiten, sondern es entstehen angenehme Gespräche.
