I would have given this a five star review except for these two issues

The location is 2 blocks from Haymaker

Cons:

I was charged a $75 pet fee for one night stay, the fee was not disclosed in the description and they would not give me a discount when I arrived. The curtains in the king room that I book would not close so it was quite bright at night

Wonderful location. The hotel is clean and the decor is retro cool. Restaurant was exceptional.
Pros:

The location was wonderful for being able to park our car and not use it again until we were ready to leave two days later. It was the perfect location to enjoy all the fun places in downtown Lincoln. Also, it was a nice, short walk to Pinnacle Bank Arena where we attended graduation.

Cons:

My husband wished the room had a microwave. Although there was a way to make hot water for instant coffee/tea in the room, he would have preferred it if the lobby had FREE coffee and breakfast. NOTE: there is a little cafe in the lobby that sells custom coffee and snacks.

Not worth it
Pros:

The coffee shop in the Lobby is great. The decor is fun. There are lots of restaurants near by.

Cons:

Parking sucks - either $23/day in the garage or fight for a spot on the street which is 1.50/hour free from 6pm-8am. Oh, and the gal at the desk told me she could just put parking charges on my room, then didn't tell me how to do that so I paid twice for one day and they can't refund me.
The pool is 4-7ft deep and so cold. Not good for kids.
The breakfast is expensive to add on and it's awful.
Elevators are so slow, small, and dirty!
No ice or vending on my floor. Ice is only available in the Lobby. Vending is scattered and sparse.

I feel like I'm being nickled and dimed to death here for a subpar experience.

We will never stay there again. We paid for two rooms and it was not worth it.

The staff was nice

Cons:

Our sheets were dirty/stained. The bathroom was disgusting, there was hair all over the floor and shower, the toilet looked like it was never cleaned and smelled awful.

It SUCKED

Cons:

Had nets flying around in the restroom of the first room I was issued. Took 2 phone calls and over 30-40 mins for anyone to respond. Was moved to another room only find black mold and dirty bed sheets. I requested my money back only to find out the hotel has to coordinate with the booking agency to return my money. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I would like a refund. Parking garage was dirty and the parking was not very accommodating for SUVs
