The tv counter was not clean. It had drink marks. And the man at check in was not friendly. He was all business. That’s fine.

It was close to restaurants and bars ( literally within walking distance.

The hotel experience was crap, no fridge or microwave although the website says there is open, says there are two bars both were closed, claims to have an on-site restaurant and of it was closed too, and to top ot off in the morning we came to pay for the breakfast buffet and off course that wasn't available either. The rooms were not that spacious even though described as such and the bathrooms although described as spacious were tiny and cramped. Besides us going out the entire hotel experience itself was toral crap and would not recommend this hotel to anyone as they do nothing but false advertise. I give it one star and that was only because I couldn't give it a negative rating but if I could I would rate it a -5. If uour bars ND restaurant are closed be honest and let people know so they don't waste their time and money on your shitty negative 5 star, crappiest hotel in Midland. Don't get a room here. They charge for amenities they do not have and their rooms are subpar at best. There are far better hotels in Midland to get room from and the LA Quinta is one of them. Big clean room, nice size bathrooms, and FREE breakfast in the morning.

This was an older hotel that needs lots of upkeep. I probably won't stay here again.
Pros:

Location was fine, Easy parking.

Cons:

The hotel only had one elevator working. Ice machines were not working. The internet wifi was spotty in my room so i did most of my work in the lobby, Usually only had one person at the main desk causing people to wait in line for several minutes.

Had changed two different rooms they were all dirty I parked in there garage and my gas tank there 3 holes drill and 4 other vehicles stole the gas no camera at all they said not reasonable for anything very fishy employees need be investigated

Its down town Midland

Cons:

Man at the front desk needs to be retrained or let go. No communication between shifts. Front desk has no problem solving skills what so ever. Loud street noise, car stereos, loud customers coming in, leaving their car stereo blaring and bumping while they check in, again the front desk should have told them to turn it off or leave. This wasn't a singular occurrence. To top it off several vehicles had fuel stolen off them in the parking garage. Was told there are no working cameras that cover any of the parking area's!!!! Only thing this place has going for it is the price. Service and crime are horrible.
