We really liked this hotel but there are a few issues that need attention. We checked in after arriving on a cruise ship. The staff were very helpful and checked our bags so we could explore the city until our room was ready. They also gave us early access to the Executive Lounge.
Our room was very nice. It offered great views from a high floor and was very spacious (mini suite). Unfortunately, there were some maintenance issues. During our first night, the AC leaked water on the tile entry floor. My wife fell, fortunately not getting hurt. This was fixed promptly. There were also problems with the shower controls. There was one attempt to fix it before we checked out but it wasn't successful.
We are Hhonors Diamond so we have access to the Executive Lounge, which is a very nice space. The food and snacks were nice but we did wish that it stayed open a little later ( 8 pm is a little early). We also had the option of having breakfast in the restaurant. It was excellent and had a wide variety of options.
Guest have access to a private fitness center in the lower level. It's large and well equipped although the pool is set up for laps rather than relaxing.
All of the service staff were helpful and very nice.
Other than the issues noted, we enjoyed the hotel and plan to return.
It's a Hilton in the middle of a large city so you kind of expect perfection. Our room was very nicely appointed, and it looks like it may have been renovated in the past few years. State if the art electric blinds, TV in the shower, fluffy robes......what a shame we had only 1 towel. Quite neglectful on the part of the housekeeping service. The problem was quickly solved and by staff. I opted for the digital check-in which went very smoothly. The digital key works well for the rooms, but not at all for the lifts so you will need a standard key. The iconic Marble Bar is located downstairs and there were a few very nice bars inside the hotel. What a shame they were closed by 10pm (on a Saturday)....well almost closed, until about 8 guests all showed up and they decided to stay open. For the price you pay things should be perfect....I'm not saying we didn't have a nice stay., I'm just stating that there are a few things that could be done better.
Beautiful interiors
Were not told the pool shuts down early on Sundays nor that it was operated by a different company (gym). It is not kid friendly. There were NO gym or pool towels despite requests from multiple guests for hours. The room stunk of mould and we were given spray to hide it. You could see the water damage that had not been fixed. The thermostat couldn’t be changed and they tried to say it took a while to kick in - it was broken. We were finally provided another room option at 9pm at night. It was beyond disappointing especially as the stay was a goodbye experience for us & friends moving overseas

Good location
My room was not serviced on first day even though I put the “service” sign on. Came back at the end of day to a messy room- unacceptable for a supposedly 5 star hotel. Also there is no room service after 11pm. Beware.
The room was lovely, beds were comfortable, and the staff were so accommodating and friendly.
The size of the room wasn't big, and for what you pay to stay there, I was expecting a much bigger room.

What's not to like I've been many times here love it
Emplacement au top.
Problème de télévision dans la douche les 2 premiers jours.
Good hotel rooms and housekeeping but let down by an atrocious breakfast experience. It’s all self service and food and drinks are spread out around a large room with narrow walkways between tables. Guests are not courteous to each other and getting food back to your table is like an obstacle course. Tables are not cleared or cleaned effectively by staff and the worst thing is the stench of the hot buffet which hits you as you enter the room and can still be smelt on your clothes after you have left. The member of staff said the ventilation system wasn’t working that day but it had been the same for 4 days during our stay. Breakfast in hotels like this should be a better experience. I’d rather eat breakfast In my own home. Would not return here.
