Important information:

A credit card imprint will be required by the hotel at check-in as security for any extras taken during your stay.

Late check in fee is set from £20 to £40.

Ohne Sanierung würden wir sofort wieder buchen, aber diese wird noch geraume Zeit dauern.
Pros:

Das Frühstück, der Service und die Mitarbeiter waren super u. haben uns verwöhnt. Das Angebot war sehr reichhaltig und der Raum sehr ansprechend. Auch haben wir die Frühstückszeiten bis 10 Uhr genossen.
Die Lage im Zentrum ist phantastisch, das Kingsizebett und die Bettwäsche grandios.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, für eine oder 2 Nächte genügend.
Neben dem Bett war kein Platz für die Koffer, zudem hatte es nur einen Stuhl.
Auf unsern Wunsch bekamen wir ein vermeintlich ruhiges Zimmer im 4. Stock, aber die Renovationsarbeiten in der 5. Etage waren äusserst laut. ( Hämmern und Bohren!)
Nach 2 Nächten bemühten wir uns um ein anderes Zimmer, via Rezeption, aber auch im 3. Stock war es noch laut.
Es gab keine Information zum Voraus, weder von Booking. com. noch vom Hotel.
Eigentlich wäre auch eine Preisreduktion angebracht gewesen.

Amazing
Pros:

The close proximity to all amenities and city centre, the friendly and helpful staff and the updated rooms

Central, comfortable stay.
Pros:

Great service on arrival and throughout, staff very attentive. Location is brilliant - very central. Food in hotel really nice. Bar has a good choice of drinks. We travelled as a group of 4 - myself and my partner shared a double bed that was very comfortable and the pillows were fine, we also recieved complimentary chocolate and crisps in our room on arrival which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, my sister and her friend who stayed in the twin room next to us said their beds and pillows were not comfortable at all and they didn't recieve the complimentary chocolate and crisps like we did. Both rooms were clean enough. I guess the hotel is a bit of a hit or a miss! A little expensive for what it is.

In total we had a lovely stay.
Pros:

The location was walking distance to all facilities . We traveled from Oxfordshire for my cousins wedding reception that was also held in the function room at the Hotel. We had breakfast with a good selection of food and were very nice. Room was lovely and clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Just the view from the room. Looking onto another building. But for the short stay it was fine.

Pros:

Great location close to Queen St station. Renovated rooms with new fittings and comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast was great and staff kind and helpful.

Cons:

No airconditioning - which wasn't a problem given that Glasgow is not as hot as London right now.
Some floors still being renovated and one lift out of operation. The only elevator in use was small and under some kind of renovation also. Made for some humour with other guests in close proximity!
