Good value, helpful staff, comfortable - no issues.
Pros:

Asked for steam iron and ironing board which were promptly provided despite its being very late in the day - this was a bit of a "life saver" and very much appreciated thank you!

Ok, but not great value.
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Under renovation. Very small reception, only one lift, dusty, room facilities were in poor condition. No power point / phone charging ability at bedside,
Could hear street noise with windows closed.
Most importantly, we were not advised that we would not be able to store our luggage after departure. We ended up having to pay for storage at a facility in the city.

Pros:

Managers very nice and engaging with customers

Cons:

Room 204 on Ingram St very noisy day and night. Old metal windows. Secondary glazing poor, doesnt keep the noise out. Bath handle missing. Carpet dirty especially on entry tp the room from the bathroom door. Poor patch replacement on carpet neat the bed. Paint refresh also needed. No net curtains for privacy from office windows so curtains had to be half set closed as bed faces the window (very close)

Give it a miss
Pros:

Didn't really enjoy my stay, they are going through renovations but the room I stayed in was very dated, the tv was unplugged and did not have a remote. it was very noisy because its on a main road and people walking and talking on the street can be heard. The rooms definitely don't match the pictures on the website.

Be more honest with guests
Pros:

Clean bedrooms

Cons:

The amount of building work was massively un reported by the hotel.
Essentially we had access to a lift and our bedroom only. We had to meet in the street in the rain. If there was a “break out area” the staff didn’t tell us about it
