The ukranian cleaning women are very loud also early in the early morning. And they rang the doorbell even if it showed “don’t disturb”.
Difficult to rest or work in silence.

What an exceptional Hilton!
Pros:

We spent 3 nights in this wonderful hotel.

The hotel is located in Buda, just next to Mathias church and the Fisherman's Bastion.

We checked in early, at 11:30 in the morning and our room was ready.
We booked a regular twin room and as Diamond members were upgraded to a fantastic Executive twin room with Danube views (that's a 5-level upgrade!) - room 378.

Getting to the room was somehow tricky at first, as you can either take one set of elevators and simply walk to the room or take another elevator which will lead you to the Executive lounge, where you have to go through it to reach the room.

Our room was amazing with a stunning view to the Danube river, the Parliament and the Fisherman's Bastion.
It featured two twin beds with hard mattresses, a chez lounge, a round dining table with chair, a TV, a safe and a Nespresso machine.

The bathroom featured a bath tub, a separate shower with a decent water pressure, a toilet and a sink.
The amenities were the usual Crabtree & Evelyn in big dispensers.

We had our three breakfasts at the Lang restaurant and they were all excellent. I've written a separate review about it.

The hotel features a wine cellar and a part of an ancient cloister.
Unfortunately, there's no swimming pool.

The Executive lounge on the third floor was one of the highlights of our stay.
It's open from 7:00 in the morning until 8:00 in the evening.
It offers a small breakfast with several hot dishes, pastries, fruits, vegetables and drinks.
During the day it features drinks, some nibbles and fruit.
Afternoon tea offers some more pastries and sandwiches.
Early dinner (4:00-6:00 in the evening) is phenomenal and includes 3 small hot dishes, 3 small cold dishes, a hot soup, cheese, cold cuts, breads, cookies, desserts, fruits and alcohol.
There's always at least one dish with Hungarian touches, which is great.
We found all the food in the lounge excellent and we actually cancelled two dinner reservations we had in Buda, as we were so full from dinner in the lounge.
Service at the lounge was impeccable.

Bottom line - It's hard not to fall in love with this hotel, especially as Diamond members. It's absolutely exceptional!
We cannot wait to be back in 2026. And we will.

1st time in Budapest!
Pros:

This is fantastic hotel! Location is great to be situated at the castel district. Check in process was smooth. Staff were friendly and helpful. Full of smiles.

Most importantly the view. Breath taking. My room was overlooking Pest and the Danube. Remember to wake up for sun rise!
