The room was clean and comfortable.
I have gone to this same hotel many times before, including recently. Parking was always free. I was shocked to see the parking lot was packed and that there was an automatic arm blocking my usual entrance. It was pouring rain in the dark with poor visibility. Not knowing what to do I turned into the lot from another interest just to slam my bumper into a pole that had been placed there to prevent entry. So I have a damaged bumper I parked at the only space available which was a long distance from the hotel). I did not get a message that the parking situation had changed.
The woman -Brianna- at the desk was rude and dismissive as I came in-hair dripping. No greeting, no expression of regret about my parking experience, only to say “Oh, you drive here?” (I told her I had driven 4 hours from Virginia when I came in so I guess she expected me to walk from Richmond. Then said she needed my tag number. I told her I could not recall it, and without blinking an eye she told me she had to have it or I’d get a ticket. Again, it’s dark and there’s a downpour, so I looked her in the eye and said “Well I’m not going to go get it”. Only then did she say I could bring the ticket back to the desk when I leave and they could fix it.
Once checked in I received an automatic greeting welcoming me and asking how my stay was so far, so I typed my complaint. I got a response indicating I’d get a call to discuss it. I didn’t receive a call that night or the next morning, only getting that same greetings as a text. Turns out the manager did try calling my room a number of times but when I inspected the phone it didn’t work- it wasn’t even attached to the wall. Just a useless decoration. So I let the manager know and was told it would be fixed. It never was. It appears someone attached a phone line to the phone but still no dial tone. I had no phone my entire stay.
It was clean, staff very nice
Early am hours verbal fighting with a group of people for 30 minutes. Woke me up. Was very concerned safety wise.
Eating area, luggage should be kept out of the area and no tables near food and coffee area. To hard to navigate around and then luggage in the way. Looking for accident to happen.
Breakfast and dining.area
Noise, alarms throughout the night and a neighbor room knocking on my door awaiting me several times during my stay. The spa/Hot tub is not work and the system at the front desk was not working upon arrival.
I always like the omelet,
When I booked, your website said free parking but parking system charged total 20 dollars, towels provided minimum.
The property was very nice and the little get together our was very nice. I wish they just told me when I checked in, but we did make it eventually.
The shuttle that was supposed to take me to the airport, which is sort of the reason why I was staying at this hotel evidently broke down and was not not available to take us to the airport. Huge inconvenience and a good $60 out of my pocket for an Uber driver. The other issue is everybody tells me that don’t give me points all the points. Don’t do me any good? I have your app. I’ve downloaded it, but it never works.
Good variety of breakfast foods.
Other than having to figure out how to adjust the shower faucet, my overall experience was very good.
Poor removal of snow for parking, absolutely horrendous
Paying for parking!!!!!!!!!! Ridiculous
My experience at Embassy Suites was amazing, I was assisted by Ms.Yvonne Brown that was such an amazing help. Ms.Brown answered all my questions and satisfied my concerns in a very polite manner. She made my stay very comfortable and I will definitely be coming back and hope to see Ms.Yvonne again. Thank you
It’s nice
The food
The breakfast was great. Get there early. The hotel is so crowded. They tried their best to keep up but this hotel was packed.
Towel shortage? Two towels provided in a room for four people? No towels at the pool. Told front desk about lack of towels. No response.
