Fijne sfeer in het hotel

I did like mostly everything, the staff at the reception was wonderful, the accommodation was also great, we did enjoy the views at 8th Floor which I would recommended, even for myself next time...
Obviously because of the reparation or renovation at the Rotterdam. Fountain in front at the hotel, it's very difficult to access the hotel, which we had to walk living our car far away from the hotel, until they explained to us how to get there using the right streets to get there.
This was the only issue.
Further we did enjoy everything.
Thanks to all the workers even the cleaning staff too, which for me they deserve it the most of the effort en efficiency, for they hardworking.

Een heerlijk bed. En het hotel is schoon. Duurzaam.
Het ontbijt werd niet goed aangevuld op de zondag. Ook was het beleg karig voor 5 sterren.
We zijn op zaterdagmiddag weggestuurd terwijl we aan de borrel zaten in de bar. Er kwam een groep. Dat kan echt niet. Echt niet gastvrij. Naderhand toen ik bij de app dit is gevuld had, kregen we een drankje de volgende dag aangeboden. Maar het gevoel van weggestuurd worden blijft wel. Zeer onprettig.
We hadden ook gevraagd om rustige kamers. Vervolgens zaten we aan bouwwerkzaamheden die om 7.00 uur op koningsdag begonnen. Nee, nee zeiden ze bij aankomst, dat waren rustige kamers. Nou mooi niet dus. Bij de receptie boden ze bij vertrek voor de volgende keer een upgrate aan voor een volgende keer, maar dan moet ik dat met screenshots vd app aantonen. Geef dan een duidelijke voucher of trek het gelijk vd rekening af.

I had a good experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and ready to help. They offered specific help with a rebooking to an earlier date since we arrive a day earlier. That was exceptional. The check-in process was smooth and quick, which made a great impression.
The room was nice, modern, and comfortable. The bed was good, and everything,-from the bathroom to the furniture, was well maintained and clean. Housekeeping did a great job.
The hotel itself had a great atmosphere, with nice facilities.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a great experience.
Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel was let down by poor service in the bar. We visited the bar twice during our stay, and on both occasions we were not served at all. Despite waiting for a considerable amount of time, no staff came to take our order or even acknowledge us.
In the end, we had to get up ourselves and arrange our drinks, which is not what you expect from a hotel of this standard.
Hopefully this is something the hotel can improve, as it detracts from what could otherwise be a good experience.

Het was erg warm op de kamer, vieze tampon lag nog op de kamer en bij het ontbijt was er al veel op.

Er was maar één werkende lift, waardoor je lang moest wachten. Nespresso apparaat op de kamer was stuk, ontbijt was zeer standaard voor een 5 sterren hotel.
Kamar gedateerd en sober. Er was zelfs geen drinkglas op de kamer⁹
De kamer en locatie waren erg goed. Het bed was super!
1 lift was kapot dus dat viel tegen. Als het hele hotel rondom belangrijke tijden naar beneden/ boven moeten dan is het erg druk. De algemene ruimtes zijn erg gedateerd, deze moeten een renovatie ondergaan.
