Cons:

Charge for parking 37 USD which we knew about upfront but unnecessarily expensive. Bedding and pillows smelt of stale sweat, reluctantly changed. Random room charge after leaving.

I guess there was new staff training. The staff that was training was on the weekend and I thought it was probably a bad idea to be training people on your busiest days. I had questions they couldn't even answer.

I like the convenience of being across from the utk convention center. I like the convenience of being in the downtown area.

Cons:

It was the transparency in the parking situation and the fact that they had little signs of another company and then or you can choose to park with Hilton for so much money. For a person that doesn't know anything about the city it was the most frustrating thing I've ever dealt with. Also there was no transparency with the additional charges the daily holds I think that's something that should be said at the beginning or in some type of literature when staying.

Just Wonderful!!
Pros:

I was attending a convention and new to the town and hotel. I was cosplaying the mandolorian from star wars so its a huge effort to get dressed.i had 80% on then i was stuck. An employee named Theron who cheerfully helped me get the last armor parts on so i could entertian kids. After the event i returned and another young man i forgot his name helped me with armor. That was such a blessing. Im not done with my story. After that i have a meeting tommorow and didnt have good enough shirt and pants. I asked david B at desk where i can get a button down shirt and slacks and he rocommended a business within walking distance. I was able to get the shirt and pants! The staff here is wonderful they go above for their guests for sure. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at the rooms are clean, bed comfortable and the staff is excellent.
