About 11mins from downtown. Plenty of parking, breakfast was good, room was spacious and clean.
A/c was right next to bed, had to turn it down so I wouldn’t get blasted all night.
Do not stay here! One elevator wasn’t working. The other was sketchy. Rooms weren’t ready upon arrival. Beds had hair in the sheets, tv was broken. AC blocked by the bed. The pool was green…. The list goes on.
Overall was a great stay.
However, just make sure restrooms are cleaned properly and dispensers are actually full. Go to front desk for any questions because I’m not sure the cleaning staff knows any English. When asked for assistance the lady said she didn’t speak English and walked away. Breakfast was better than most hotel breakfasts I typically partake in, that always a plus!
We usually always enjoy our experience with Hyatt properties. This Hyatt Place was definitely not what we were hoping for. Though the staff seemed to be trying the best that they could, the overall property was extremely rundown. Mold in the bathrooms, Room was stripped of most vanities, desks and credenzas you find in Hyatt places, broken ice machines, broken doors, lights not working etc. We have always enjoyed our stay at Hyatt, but will not be returning to the one in Baton Rouge.
Nic was really good. The room was nice. the facility was well kept.
The elevators were a bit slow.
Room was big and it was nice to have a desk.
The staff was very nice and helpful.
The facility is run down, the fitness area very badly equipped (two machines broken and no weights). The desk kept moving while I was working and the office chair very uncomfortable.
Close to everything.
Lights in the room were not working, room was run down and breakfast was not as expected.
Affordable, quiet, not over packed
Breakfast
