Nice location
Cleanliness was less than expected, older hotel accommodations, breakfast less than expected (picked up a bagel that had mold on the bottom of it)
Location
Noisy at night in room above me.
I was staying in Georgetown for 2 weeks, so I booked one week initially. Then I went to the front to request a week extension on my stay in the same room(the day before my initial checkout date). I was told I couldn’t do that until I checked out, then they could check that same day if there was availability. Immediately I checked out and went to the hotel across the street. Why would I have to wait until my literal checkout date, to check with the hotel I’m already staying at, if I may be able to stay there an entire extra week. Because how am I guaranteed the same room, or even worse, what if there is no availability. Then I’m stuck in the parking lot with all my things trying to book something. Absolutely useless policy, I’m not sure if the front desk person just didn’t understand me correctly or explained it incorrectly. However I will never be staying here again.
Stayed one night recently at this Hampton Inn. Overall a pretty average Hampton Inn except for the fact that nearly everyone I encountered in my short few hours around Georgetown seems to be depressed and unfriendly including employees at the hotel. I should have not stopped in Georgetown but I thought Georgetown might be a good place to explored before heading to Charleston. I was super wrong. Local Food Lion was depressing. Parker’s Kitchen gas station near the hotel was also unwelcoming. Heading to the hotel around 6pm, I arrived at an unstaffed front desk. Waited for someone to pop up from the back office as I could hear them talking. Finally a hotel employee showed up. First words were “yes?”. Not “hi” or “welcome to Hampton Inn” but “yes?” Told her I was checking in and after a few clicks of the keyboard and no other dialogue she announces that I’m checked in. No key card either. When asked about getting some key cards she mentioned I could use the digital key on my Hilton app. No, how about you just code two key cards? Got a sigh and an eye roll and finally on my way. Didn’t interact with another employee after that. Upon arriving up to the floor where my room was located I noticed a strong smell of disinfectant. When I got to my room the smell continued in the room. It was giving me a headache and had to open to the door to vent the room. Overall the room is typical Hampton Inn - old, furniture and sofa has seen better days. Some stains. Walls are thin. It’s expected of Hampton Inns. Breakfast is typical as well - nothing spectacular and enough to get you out of the hotel in the morning. Will never come back to Georgetown or this hotel on my way to Charleston. Lesson learned!

Close to everything!
No dislikes.
I had to change my room on day 2 because the lights went out in half the room.
The elementary breakfast was nice
I didn't like that I needed wipes to clean off my counter, and I was given the option to use Lysol spray as a photo of someone coming to clean the area with cleaning products
I stayed at this property over the Christmas holidays and it was a nice stay. I was first greeted by Marvette who was super friendly. She acknowledged me as a Hilton member (which doesn't always happen at check-in) and explained everything to me. The front desk manager was nice as well and they did everything possible to make a Christmas stay comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, rooms were spacious. There is a pool but it was too cold to use. The hotel is minutes from downtown and the views from the hotel of the marina are very nice. Overall it was a good stay and I would stay here again.
Great location, phenomenal staff. Delphine was so kind and welcoming and helpful. The night desk attendants were also great.
Our ac/heat unit made some loud noises at 3-4am two nights in a row, it was disruptive. Adjusting the temperature seemed to help the issue.
Breakfast was typical for the hotel, the food was just warm not hot but they did have a variety to choose from. The rooms were clean but the carpet is worn and had an odor to it, overall the hotel needs to be upgraded. The staff were very pleasant and the hotel is in a great location for visiting other places to shop and eat.
The food at the breakfast bar should be hot and not just luke warm. The carpet in the hallway's had a musty odor and should be changed out.
