Baymont by Wyndham Lubbock - Downtown Civic Center

The room nothing like photos. The room was nasty. They chair was torn and had something unrecognizable on the arm. The closet door was broke. The bathroom had no door. The keylock on room side was broke. There was none of the amenities stated. The room smelled. The housekeeper tried to just walk in. We didn't stay went to room seen all this and walked back down requested our money back and canceled the room. The manager stated he was sorry and I know this is not his fault and canceled without fees and requested our money to be return and said it should be in about 2-3 business days. He was very nice and understand the upset and disappointment of the room.

The back of my door panel where you scan the key card had all of the wires exposed. There was no towels, trash can, and the screws to hold the toilet seat on was missing. So even if i wanted to sit on it it would fall off. The towels rail was broken, there were cigarette burns on the bathtub. The lamp was bent and tilted sideways with no lampshade.

Good location. No atmosphere. I guess it is what you get for the price. The room was in awful condition, very dirty, carpet pulling up, toilet tank cracked, missing/broken towel rack. The towels were visibly dirty and so was the furniture. Only 2 pillows for 2 beds. TV did not work. There was hand soap but no other toiletries.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the college by my nephew's graduation. This is absolutely the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. It's old yes - but it's obvious management does not care what the property or the room looked like. Carpets had huge tears in it, bedspread and curtains had holes in them, towels and sheet were stained (so hopefully they were at least clean. Bathtub was stained and had bathtub rings, bathroom vanity was separating from the wall, closet was missing closet rod and supports (obviously no hangers) and to top it off - no hot water for bath. Sink was clogged and I saw a roach at night in the bathroom - but the room was so disgusting that was not surprising. I can't believe Wyndham allows this property to use it's name.

Wow. Just… wow.
The word “disgusting” doesn’t even begin to describe this place. The room reeked of cigarettes, armpits, and broken dreams. The bedspread looked like it had survived multiple pandemics — COVID, SARS, and possibly the Black Plague.

The carpet was torn in several places and looked like it hadn’t seen a vacuum since the Clinton administration. None of the lamps worked — which might actually be part of their strategy because darkness is the only way you’d want to see this room.

If you’re looking for a place that tests your immune system, congratulations — you’ve found it! One star only because zero stars isn’t an option.

On a plus side, they must be so used to people wanting a refund they didn’t even argue with us.

This was by FAR THE WORST hotel (if you can even call it that) I’ve ever seen in person. Dirty doesn’t even begin to describe it. It was FOUL. We went to two different rooms and cancelled our stay immediately. The door looked like it had been forcefully broken into a few times, the light in the bathroom was missing and the shower? Wouldn’t have stepped foot in it.

Room was dirty restroom was disgusting no hot water holes on the walls and doors . It smelled like an ash tray towels and sheets seem dirty. Worst hotel I have ever been in my life and I’ve been to some pretty ugly places
