Sonesta ES Suites Allentown Bethlehem Airport

The smell in the building was terrible. Burned our noses and eyes. They ran out of towels so we were left with 1 towel for 6 people. The next morning, they were still out of bath towels. They were able to give us pool towels to use. The shower made a horrible screaming noise every time you used it. One fork in the unit to use. Had to buy plasticware. Dusty, dingy, old. The mattress on the pull out was split in half and had stains all over it. Had to go down to front desk in another building to get linens. Actually, every time there was an issue, had to walk down to front desk. They do not come to you. Pillows were flat! Needed 3 to have any type of elevation and you had to double those over. Breakfast was fair. Eggs were great. But that's it. Breakfast is far from what the site pictures! They were out of most things and no variety. No pepper, no cream cheese, barely any milk every morning, one type of yogurt. No fresh fruit. 2 of the days, they didn't have breakfast ready at the scheduled time. One morning, it was almost empty when I went down 30 min after the start of it. Their staff were taking items before paid customers received theirs. I placed my laundry in the dryer one evening. When I went back to get it, someone had removed my laundry from the dryer! This was the most upsetting thing as someone messed with my personal clothing items. Since there was no laundry in the dryers at all, and there wasnt any in the washers waiting to go in the dryers, I have to assume that someone stole some of my dryer time as some of my items were still damp! I would never ever choose to go here again. It was cheap so I see that you get what you pay for. Will stay at the Sonesta ES suites in NJ as that place is amazing and they have excellent customer service, excellent breakfast, clean rooms. This is far from that.

Breakfast had odd hours, not a great selection and ran out of food twice during my stay. While they only do housekeeping once a week, we had to go to the front desk daily for towels (we showered and used the pool daily and the rooms only come with two sets of towels). The rooms need some updating. Cabinets stick, bathrooms could use a little love.

The room itself needs a deep cleaning i stood 2 nights ..My allergies n asthma was uncontrollable I needed medical attention.
The breakfast was very n cold.

The room itself was dirty. Looked like dog hair fur balls all over the carpet and in the bathroom there was other people's hair on the floor and in the shower. The desk chair was absolutely disgusting, not sure what was all over it. But it was covered in all sorts of different stuff. Also the pillows were so uncomfortable. They went flat the moment you touched them. I didnt have the luxury of time to complain and try to switch rooms due to the nature of my stay so I cleaned it myself. Two of the mornings out of the 4 mornings that I was there I had gone down for breakfast juat before 8am and there was no hot food left and I mean none at all. So after that I did not bother with breakfast the rest of my stay. Breakfast was supposed to be served until 8:30am (which in my opinion is no wear near long enough)

The room was very dirty but the staff was amazing! I didn’t complain during the stay because it was only one night and they accommodated me last minute with an early check in.

Not very well cleaned. Bits of trash left in random places.
