Fantastic views, great staff, super comfortable
Pros:

We booked a large garden view room, it was spacious with a fantastic view of the garden, river and London eye. In summer you might not see much through the trees but it would be green! The staff were brilliant. The kitchen had an issue with the fryers and as I have a shell fish allergy, they heated up a separate pan for my fish and chips. We had a complimentary tour of the function rooms, Churchill bar and the basement, it was such a highlight. Breakfast in bed was perfect. Thank you to all the staff, they couldnt do enough to help. Only comment would be a few more veggie / vegan options on the bar menu.

Beautiful, historic hotel in a great location- room could go with a little updating
Pros:

Beautiful, old style hotel. Lovely big room with high ceiling, slippers & robe. A few complimentary items.
Staff very friendly. Great location

Cons:

Dressing table in keeping with its history but at the same time probably needs an update. A pillow menu would be good as we both struggled with the ones we’d got. The bedroom was one of the ‘internal ones’ (as opposed to overlooking the road/garden) and because of this it felt a bit dismal- you didn’t even know what the weather was like outside. Having said that, for the price I’d put up with it for a couple of nights - and would definitely recommend the hotel

Cuidado con el personal, racista y homofobico. No toleran personas de otras etnias

Discriminación de parte del personal. No atendían mis requerimientos de la misma forma que atendían a otros huéspedes.

Cons:

Me sentí vulnerado por ser hispano. Se notaba que el personal no toleraba personas de otras etnias que no fueran ingleses

The hotel is a piece of art - very beautiful.
Pros:

My second time in the hotel and it was great, again! Everything about it is just excellent - the room, the stuff, the little details that make your stay exceptional.

Cons:

The coffee at the breakfast is from a bad automated machine. Could be better.

One lift had internal floor button selection hanging off wall, took away from the rest of the hotel that had a premium feel. Didn’t ruin the stay, just unexpected in a high end hotel in this location.

L’emplacement ideal près de la National Gallery
