Wishing For Better Sleep. :/
Pros:

My 8-year-old daughter and I had a frustrating stay here. One evening we were locked out of our room for over an hour because the keycard reader was broken, with all of our belongings stuck inside. I had to repeatedly follow up with the front desk as the promised timeframes to fix the issue kept coming and going.
When we were eventually moved to another room, the bed was extremely hard, which was difficult for me since I have back problems. The room also had some maintenance issues — the mirror was hanging crooked and the bathroom door was missing the lock button.
The location also made it difficult to sleep. The Denny’s in the parking lot had loud and inconsiderate customers yelling outside throughout the night. The bathroom in our room also lacked a plastic shower curtain and only had a cloth one. The water pressure was very low, and it was difficult to adjust the water temperature — it was either too hot or too cold.
Earlier in the day I had already asked the front desk to reprogram my key card several times and had even asked about moving rooms, so being locked out later that night made the situation even more frustrating.
The next morning I asked about being compensated for the inconvenience, but there seemed to be some confusion. The front desk told the manager on the phone, in front of me, that I had “refused” the replacement room, which was simply not accurate. After being locked out of our room late at night and dealing with repeated delays, we were exhausted and just wanted to get into a room and go to sleep.
To their credit, the staff did attempt to address the situation, but the $20 credit that was offered felt insulting given the circumstances — especially after the situation had been mischaracterized to management.
At breakfast there was also a loud group joking around in the dining area who turned out to be staff, which added to the overall impression of a lack of professionalism.
Overall, it was a very poor experience, and I ended up leaving as quickly as I could.

it was the worst experience in my life, and I was not offered a refund after complaining
Pros:

I don’t know if this is under new ownership because these pictures are a lie. This was the most disgusting filthiest dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my entire life and it needs to be condemned.
The bedding hadn’t been changed. It was for Hair. There was semen dripping down the side of the bed skirt. The curtains were filthy dirty. The floor had a sticky substance with hair in it. My bed was filthy. The walls were filthy. The curtains had never been washed there was no smoke. Alarm on the plug outlets had no face plates behind the standup mirror. There is a big opening in the wall, where mice and rats could come through which there were droppings all over the floor. The door was unsafe. The latch did not work. It was broken. The doors did not self shut the walls and the bedboard were filthy. This place needs to be condemned.
and the stairs going up to the next floor about ready to cave in

DISAPPOINTED
Pros:

I was disappointed with the property.
The room itself was not impressive, but at least it was somewhat clean.
Our heater rattled.
The door lock needed attention.
Unfortunately, the exterior or outside property is in a state of disrepair.
Pealing front doors, missing screens, fire extinguisher cabinets missing glass, trash that could be picked up.
We had a dog and went to the pet area and found it disgusting.
Poop dispenser empty, and had graffiti.
Piles of dog poop left in area that easily could of been picked up.
We went into the lobby and equally disappointed.
Ceiling lights out with burnt out bulbs.
The breakfast was minimal and not worth taking.
The owner of the hotel clearly isn't taking care of the propert.
We definitely don't recommend.

Pros:

I liked that it was close to the freeway so we got to places fast. But the floors in the room was very sticky. And the TV didnt work for us we would be using it than the screen would just turn black. Also the breakfast was pretty plain. It didn't have any protein and had a small selection. It was dog friendly so that was great.

Cons:

Breakfast

Pros:

Gross!
Place was a dump. Lobby needed paint and a scrubbing. Parking lot had garbage everywhere. Room was gross with mold on ceiling in bathroom, stains on curtains and gross stuff on walls. I wouldn’t walk on the floor barefooted.
Garbage overflowing near stairs. Dumpster in middle of parking lot overflowing. The entire place can use a giant pressure washer.

Overall, it worked fine for our stay. Bathroom door was hard to open/close. Heater seemed to be on a timer, so it worked better during the day. One evening we had issues with the WiFi. The cleaning person used her phone to ask if you wanted service.

Balloon Fiesta
Pros:

Great location for this years events; However, property needs much TLC. Rooms are smallish with double beds, instead of Queens. Exterior needs updating as well as baths. Breakfast was minimal with little selection. Adjacent hotels are much nicer.
But location was everything, 2 exits from Balloon park and great nearby restaurants.

Pros:

The hotel is very old and it shows the wear. There was bbq sauce spilled next to refrigerator and in door way. The shower head was placed for a 3 foot person. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was fresh, just not many options. Did have waffle maker. Prices during balloon festival are crazy.
