We could check in , and the 3 o’clock staff was nice
My room was not clean had pet hair in the bed who ever cleaned the room didn’t clean sweep or mop , they didn’t change the bedding , they told me I could speak to an manager about it before we checked out then all of a sudden the manager wasn’t at the property and wasn’t available, the lady at the desk gave me a card and told me to call Monday morning I tried to call and didn’t get an answer or anything I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel .
I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the treatment my party received at this hotel. We were referred here by another sister property after being told there was availability. Before arriving, we called and were specifically informed that there were three rooms available. However, once the guests arrived, they were suddenly denied accommodations in a manner that felt discriminatory, hostile, and deeply disrespectful.
What made the situation even more upsetting was that immediately afterward, I was able to go online and successfully book the exact rooms that the front desk claimed were “unavailable.” I now have confirmation numbers proving that the rooms did in fact exist despite what we were told over the phone and in person.
The front desk employee — I believe her name may have been Mia, Leah, or something similar — was incredibly rude, loud, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. Instead of trying to calmly assist exhausted travelers simply looking for a place to rest, the situation escalated unnecessarily to the point where police were called. The screaming, hostility, and lack of basic customer service were completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, I was told I could not cancel the reservation unless I physically appeared at the hotel, even though I had already booked online after being told there were no rooms available. The entire experience was confusing, humiliating, and emotionally upsetting.
Driving all the way from Chesapeake to Virginia Beach on a Friday night only to be treated this way is something I will never forget. Hospitality should never make guests feel unwelcome, disrespected, or targeted.
I will absolutely be contacting corporate regarding this matter and requesting a full investigation into how this situation was handled. Staff members should receive proper customer service and de-escalation training, and I believe compensation or reimbursement is warranted for the inconvenience and distress caused.
I would strongly caution others to think carefully before booking here. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever encountered, and unfortunately it has left a lasting negative impression on me for years to come
The check in staff was great, she try very hard to help us checking in the computer system doesn't work for 40min. And the breakfast was very good, and both the food counters and the dining area were very clean.
The elevator was exceptionally dirty and smelled unpleasant, and there were small bugs on the pillows. The mattress was filthy and some of them even didn't have bed pad.
Location was awesome it was 10-15 mins to all the places we needed to go. The front desk rep was very pleasant and inviting.
There were a lot of sketchy people hanging around exit doors in the back side of the hotel drinking and smoking. When we went to leave the next morning there was a needle near our back tire which was very alarming. The hotel is in the middle of being renovated and the tub had a constant drip and there was a lot of old furniture outside in the corner.
Booked a room here pre cruise. The room was ok. It was very dated. The bed was near the end of its life. The floor was laminate tiles and seemed a bit grungy. No drain plugs in the sink, and rough worn edges on doors, furniture, etc. It seems like a good portion of the other guests lived there (speculation). The breakfast was really good and the breakfast lady was super friendly. If we couldn't find a better deal, we would stay here again. I just think for what we paid, the room should have been a lot better. If this room was priced out like a budget hotel (that it resembles), it would have been about right.
N/A
The room was completely dirty. The personal care bottles were empty.
The staff was nice.
It was disgusting all around the hotel. The bathroom door you can’t shut unless you stand in the shower to shut the door. Then go back in the shower to open the door. Our fire alarm was cut off and on the desk??? My skin was just crawling staying here.
Location
Under construction and should be closed until renovations complete. Water running brown from sinks and shower. Bugs! Could feel coils in the bed. Staff is rude and lazy-requested iron. Told they didn’t have or know where any were until pressed. Other guests appeared to be either addicted or in recovery. Not somewhere I’d bring my family. This brand has declined substantially.
Room was clean staff was amazing
