Not a good hotel to stay in
Pros:

Staff were lovely and apologetic and happy for us to cancel.

Cons:

Hotel was so bad we didn't actually stay. Very basic, few facilities and dirty in the main corridors. Air conditioning poor.

Rough on the outside, but cozy on the inside
Pros:

This is located in a rough industrial area, just off Veteran's Parkway. It's not easy to get to, either, with a confusing traffic circle to navigate. That said, the location does make it convenient for accessing GSP Airport (about 20 miles straight down the freeway). The exterior looks like some kind of 1960s concrete box with windows, and the parking lot needs a good repaving.

But it all changes when you walk through the doors. For one, the receptionist was really welcoming and friendly. Got me a nice room quickly. As for the room, it was good sized with a fairly unique and funky decor. It was far from the standard Holiday Inn template, and that was most welcoming. There were quirky decorations on the credenza, behind the bed on the walls, and even on the bag stand. These were sprinkled with homey photos on the wall for a more personal touch. It was co-ordinated, like somebody put some actual thought into the room style. I loved it. If you can put aside the neighbourhood, this is a nice place to spend a night if you're transiting Spartanburg.

Pros:

It was close to were my conference was at.

Cons:

The floor of the shower was nt cleaned out. Hair was all in the bottom. The walls are like literally paper thin. We could hear every movement and sound the whole time also huge gap at the bottom of entry door. Sounds like people's running past the door all nite and can hear every conversation threw the door. Refrigerator was broken didn't work and that room was suppose to be a premium upgrade so we paid more to get less. Ice maker outside our room was filthy and broken. The area looked questionable nothing like the picture on the site. Front desk staff was nice at check in. We checked in between 4:00pm and 5:00 pm

Good hotel but don’t use booking.com
Pros:

It was clean, quiet, employees were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Not really the property itself, but when I booked the listing said there was a heated indoor pool- there was not. The listing also said “breakfast included” insinuating it was included in the price. It was not. This hotel does not have a breakfast buffet- it’s a sit down restaurant and you pay per meal. We did this one morning and the food was good, but the listing on booking.com is misleading, and one employee let me know that I wasn’t the first person to have this problem. However, booking.com didn’t respond to my first message, and then the 2nd message, they basically told me I’m wrong and I’m SOL 🥲🥲🥲
