Great location close to rail and bus station. A little old but everything is nice and clean. Room space, amentity, bathroom and toilet is good and nice to stay in.
Corridor to the room is scarry with dim light and black&white photo on the room door. It's a good help remember the room but some photos are too alarming and not good for first impression.
Staff were amazing, location was perfect to walk to not only the convention center but lots of food options and tourist locals. Parking situation isn't the best but that is more of a downtown issue than the hotel's.
Parking, but it's a downtown issue, not the hotel's
Very peaceful and quiet place to stay
The popcorn and the candy was not free
Location
$100 per night security deposit which is unheard of and absurd.. The room size and very uncomfrtable bed.
Exactly if not more of what I expected. I choose this hotel as part of my Biritish Airways Holidays package, I am so happy I did! Wonderful location, wonderful welcome (with Alice In Chains playing in the background while checking in ❤️) by very professional and corteus staff and the room... I upgraded it to the SubPop one and it was lovely. A wonderful picture of Eddie Weddernon the room door, a record player and actual records (including a Soundgarden one) to be played! Rooms are clean and very quite. Staff is so polite I felt like hugging them. I cannot wait to return
We’ve stayed at Hotel Max on multiple occasions during short weekend trip trips to Seattle. Not only is the hotel unique and historic, but it’s centrally located to the majority of neighborhoods and activities that we like to frequent (downtown, Queen Anne, First Hill.) Rooms are on the cozier side and the bathrooms are a little snug, but everything is clean, modern, functional, and nice. Big closets too (the building used to be apartments.) Add in the cool vibe of the staff, great lobby and refreshments, and you get a 5-star launchpad for all of your Seattle adventures.
Location, friendliness, style
Nothing
The staff was helpful and understanding about my irrational fear of elevators
Super friendly and great location
Great location, very nice employees, clean rooms and so comfy. Offered a amazing lounge area to hang out and visit. Lots of places to eat, shop and be entertained. Was the perfect place to stay after enjoying a show at the Paramount. Also the security of valet parking at an additional cost, but so worth it.
all the homies <3 happy hour @ HOTEL MAX
Great hotel. Everything is as advertised on their website. Craft beer happy hour in the lobby is a fun way to try local beers and meet other guests. Excellent location—walkable to major attractions and just a couple of blocks from the Amazon campus. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Better rates than chain hotels.
Hotel Max is a small, quirky boutique hotel located right by the convention center. It was the perfect "home base" while I was working at a conference nearby. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very laid back.
My room wasn't large—there weren't drawers for clothes, and the sink was tiny—but it was clean, quiet, and the beds were comfy. Since my roommate and I were only there to sleep, it was plenty of space. We loved the morning coffee/fruit and the nightly happy hour with craft beer; the lobby felt so cozy and inviting with guests chatting. Ultimately, I'm giving it 5 stars for the safety, helpful staff, and overall comfort.
The interior looks great. Great staff too.
No parking in the hotel and the overnight parking outside is expensive and you need to bring your luggage accross the street to the hotel so its inconvenient. There's also deposit and additional fees.
Great location within walking distance of a lot of Seattle must-sees. We walked to Pike's Place and the piers and had lots of food/coffee/drink options even closer to the hotel. The staff was very helpful & gave great recommendations. We stayed here while we were in town for a concert at the Paramount Theater and it was exactly what we needed for our trip.
Great location, friendly staff, nice rooms.
No coffee machine in the room.
Great location, ease of checking in electronically, friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely be back.
room too cramped for two people. valet staff were just not there to justify the exorbitant amount they were charging. in general, staff phoned it in...
