The hotel met all our needs, as we only needed somewhere to put our heads down at night.
Pros:

Everything we needed was in the room, bed, shower and toilet, which meant we didn't have to share with others.

Cons:

Wellington differently does not sleep. Alot of street noise on our first night we arrived. We were too tired the second night to bother. The homeless waiting around outside was also a put off.

Price reflects the hotel
Pros:

Great location and the staff when we checked in were very nice. The man when we checked out just greeted us with our room number which was unusual, and it’s the first time we’ve not heard “hope you enjoyed your stay”

Cons:

The room had black mould, water marks all over the curtains and hair in the drain, so we asked to move and were told there was one room available but it was far too small for 2 of us and luggage. They then moved us to the mansion which was much better in size but still had the lack of facilities, no breakfast service so we had to go out and get Brekky despite a busy scheduled weekend as an artist for the local festival.

Value for money on a budget. A great base to explore inner wellington
Pros:

Value for money. I paid well under 100 a night for my three night stay during a busy festival weekend in wellington. I didnt have high expectations given the low price point. Its basic, but clean. Good shower, good sized rooms, handy storage. A short stroll to the likes of cuba street etc - Was a great low budget base to enjoy wellington

Pros:

It was good value for money and clean!
Appreciated that the windows could be opened for airing.

The staff were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

Very noisy due to traffic and single glass windows don’t suppress that noise at all!

A pair of thick curtains might help with that and the cold in winter.

No net curtains, the people from surrounding buildings can see right into the room.
