Wonderful stay with a welcoming staff and an ambience suited to the Alaskan outdoors.
Pros:

Room was quiet and spacious with drawers, closet, and nightstands. Lots of lighting options--reading lamp, overhead lighting, makeup/vanity lighting. WiFi was great. Staff members were helpful, courteous and friendly. The lobby set the mood for an Alaskan winter. We had one meal in the restaurant with a nice view of the frozen lake and simple, tasty food and beer.

Cons:

The button on the tap that alters water from the showerhead to the faucet was very tight. By the second night, we had to call the desk who arranged for Rolly, hotel maintenance guy, to bring his tools to loosen it for us. Hard water caused the problem and it was quickly fixed, but my husband had to wait 30 minutes to take his shower. Just an inconvenience, but one that could be avoided by having housekeeping check it out when prepping for the next occupants.

Comfort and convenience!
Pros:

Had a comfortable 1 night stay. The young woman at the desk (Eurina) was so pleasant and accommodating. My room was adequate and clean. Rooms and lobby could definitely use a re-fresh. Breakfast in the dining room was very good and our waitress was especially nice. The view of Lake Hood was outstanding! I was glad to see the on-site security and you can’t beat the location if you’re headed to the airport. Will be back!

Best bar in town
Pros:

Great place with great views! Bar is best in town with friendly experienced bartenders and service staff.
The girls are especially cute and very helpful with menu suggestions as well as local attractions.
I highly recommend the Lakefront Fancy Moose saloon!

Pros:

It was a beautiful hotel, the staff was very hospitable & it was conveniently located near the airport with a complimentary shuttle service to & from the airport. It was close to Kincaid park where we cross country skied & there was a restaurant on the property. It is also close to downtown.

Great business hotel in Anchorage
Pros:

The Lakefront has become my go-to when transiting through Anchorage. Location relative to the airport is fantastic, rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is great. During a recent business stay, we had a bit of trouble with my reservation (on my end - not the hotel’s), and the night manager Mary got on the phone with my travel folks and got it sorted.

Great Place!
Pros:

We stayed two nights and the room was comfortable with views of the lake. Both restaurants were good and Rita at the Flying Machine was especially welcoming.
