The omelet station was great.
Quality is leaving, The snacks at the manager reception was a full apple, animal crackers and ranch dip.
Breakfast staff needs to find a hoby outside of criticism of clients. We got reprimanded on not immediately putting a coffee insulation ring on our coffee.
Don’t expect the usual Embassy Suites experience here. It seems Hilton is milking this property for what little it’s still worth. Frayed and dirty carpet, rust spots in the tub, and a sad looking place.
The staff was fantastic! Great breakfast.
Unfortunately, learned the hotel was scheduled to close for demolition at the end of the month.
This was one a classic hotel. First rate, it is due to close on 9/15/2025. I'm not sure what will happen then; it will probably be demolished, as it is in dire need of renovation. You can tell they are not doing anything to keep it up at present. This was one of our favorites; we hate to see it go.
It was clean
The parking
A waste to shut down, rooms are spacious. And beautiful. Staff old and very dedicated to jobs and people there. If something can be done to save it. I wood
Nothing, except it won't be there
I stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Kansas City and the check-in experience was excellent—the staff was friendly and welcoming, which set a positive tone. Unfortunately, the condition of the rooms tells a different story.
The room itself is in need of some serious updates and maintenance. I noticed rust on fixtures, chipped paint, smudges on the windows, and stagnant water in the tub. The balcony also felt concerning—I didn’t feel comfortable stepping out because the guardrails didn’t seem sturdy, and I questioned their stability.
Overall, the hospitality was great, but the hotel rooms need major attention to bring them up to the standard you’d expect from Embassy Suites. Until then, I’d suggest management prioritize maintenance and safety improvements.
Friendly and attentive staff. The beds were extremely comfortable! Bathrooms were clean, though I expected them to be more updated for an embassy suites.
Bad location. There were signs in the parking saying “park at your own risk. Hotel is not responsible for burglary”.
The amenities were nice. The staff was wonderful.
Cleanliness was a huge issue. There was dust everywhere in our room, as if nothing had been wiped down prior to our stay. An oil change sticker was stuck to a photo in the room. Gross finger prints all over the window and some sort of body parts prints on the wooden head board. We discovered a dead cock roach in the bathroom, one crawling in the sink and 3 more in the bathroom alive throughout the night. The hotel said they couldn't refund any part of our stay because we used Booking.com to book our stay. Overall dissatisfied and won't stay there again.
Free breakfast was very welcome. The overall construction, especially the atrium, was very inspiring. The pool area was quite nice despite not being the cleanest.
The cleanliness and quality of the room/building was very old and past its time. We requested housekeeping multiple times over 3 days through calling over the hotel phone, texting on the staff line, and even in-person at the front desk and we never received the service. We had to flag down the housekeeping staff ourselves and request they replace our towels/shower gel. We never had the beds made.
Everything was wonderful the 2 gentlemen working the front desk to check us in were wonderful the room was spotless and comfortable. I even considered moving in.. even the breakfast was great
No complaints loved everything. Everything was clean and beautiful
The location and building itself
No shuttle service, bar nor restaurant opens until 5 pm. Have to get an extra card from the front desk just to get into the pool area
location
The food was terrible at dinner and the breakfast. Understaffed in both, but food quality was not up to Embassy Suite Standards we are used to.
