Staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast was first rate.
I have been truly impressed with my stay at the Embassy Suites - Valley Forge. Brenda and Chrissy and the front desk were extremely courteous. They honored my request for an early check-in, which was relatively last minute since my home internet was down. I had to run to my car to grab my bags post-check in, and Suzanne (I think that was her name) from Housekeeping came running over to inform me that I dropped a shirt from a hanger on the way in. The convenience center was easy to use, but Brenda even gave me a quick tutorial. I’ve stayed at dozens of hotels over the years due to work travel, and I have to say, this is one of the best. Thanks a ton to the staff and management - customer service here is too notch, and the location is great too!
It was clean comfy and the people was so nice. Release was our waiter and he was friendly with great service
They didn’t tell us they put a $50 extra charge on ur card for damages it will b refunded but they should tell u about it
We arrived for a stay of 30 days. We checked in and stayed the first night and everything was fine. We were on our way out the next morning and made a stop at the front desk that next morning to ask a question. Brenda was at reception. She asked if we were checking out. I told her no since we were staying for 30 days. She told me my reservation was only for one night. I didn’t understand. Here, when I booked the room, apparently I hit the wrong button on the phone and was directed to another booking site and they only booked me in error for 1 night instead of 30.
Brenda told me that they didn’t have any rooms available fir my full stay - I was in a panic since we had just unpacked everything that morning.
Brenda went into
Everything but the shower head did not work, we told the front desk fella and he said it did.
Shower head did not work and the front fella said I was a liar
Very nice
They was late on having our room cleaned so we could not check in until close to 4pm
I stayed here for a sports tournament, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing.
The hotel is in serious need of a refresh. The room (and common areas) showed obvious signs of age, including rust in the bathroom, worn paint, and a sofa that was so sunken it was uncomfortable to sit on. While I don’t expect luxury at a place like this, I do expect a room to be clean, well maintained, and in good repair especially with such a high rating.
The first night, I found a bug in my room. The second night was even worse: there was a fire at the hotel, and guests were unable to re-enter until around 11:00 p.m. Understandably, emergencies happen and I don’t fault the hotel for the fire itself. However, when we were finally allowed back inside, the building smelled heavily of smoke, making it difficult to relax or sleep.
The fitness center was another disappointment. It smelled overwhelmingly of bleach, yet somehow still looked dirty, which left me questioning how well it was actually being cleaned.
Overall, this hotel fell well below my expectations. Management needs to invest in maintenance, updated furnishings, and improved housekeeping. Will never be back.
Hotel muito limpo e confortavel. Funcionarios muito simpaticos e amigaveis.
Quarto bastante espacoso. Cafe da manha muito bom.

First, I wanted to shout out to the amazing front desk staff, bar staff, and housekeeping before this review.
My family had a stay on Saturday June 20th for one night. We were in town for my sons lacrosse tournament. We had a very long day at the fields on Saturday and were so happy to come and relax at the hotel. The check in staff were very friendly and informative of all the amenities, and I was so pleased they had quarters readily available for me to use the laundry services (It is amazing how many hotels do not have quarters for guests). My husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal and a couple of drinks at the bar while we ordered my son dinner to go. The food was amazing and the service was on point. We enjoyed meeting others in the bar and all talking about what brought us to town. We had a great room with two king bedrooms and all got a great nights sleep. We had to be back at the field fairly early so the plan was for me to get up early and while my husband and son got ready I would grab breakfast for them both and bring to the room (we do this at many many hotels with no issue). I was a little taken aback that there was a security guard (it had security guard on his t-shirt) checking names and numbers as I entered the breakfast room, but I gave him my information and went on to get some plates. I had a bowl of oatmeal, a bagel breakfast sandwich, and a bagel with cream cheese on my plate and when I went to leave I was confronted by the security guard that I could not leave the area with food. He was very rude and not kind at all about this, and when I asked him if I just waste the food his response was “I don't care”. So, being a little upset I threw the food out (which is so ironic that he said that as there are signs in the breakfast area that read something to the effect of please be mindful of how much food you take as to not waste.
I briefly stopped at the front desk and again the staff were so nice and said I was certainly not the first one to complain but there was nothing that could be done. When I returned upstairs my husband was appalled by this, and so when he and my son went down to eat they experienced a horrible experience. There was a gentleman trying to leave with food as I did and was confronted by the security guard and my husband mentioned to the gentleman that he did not believe he can really enforce that rule and that he planned on taking his food out. This enraged the security guard who then physically started to go after my husband (in front of a room full of hotel guests and my son) and had to be restrained by other hotel staff. My family finished their breakfast (which they both said was very underwhelming, potatoes were not cooked all the way through and the sausage patties were cold) and also mentioned to the front desk staff what happened and they informed him it was noted.
We just could not believe this happened as we have never experienced such a poor hotel experience. We have two sons that play both travel hockey and lacrosse so we spend a tremendous amount of time in hotels and primarily Hilton, so this was just disturbing. We had a lovely stay at the DoubleTree in Wilkes Barre the night before, which made this particularly more disturbing. We stopped again after the tournament in Wilkes Barre and actually chose an IHG due to the poor experience, and were able to bring breakfast back to the room with no issue.
I have been a Hilton Honors member for many years and felt this needed to be addressed. It was a terrible experience for us and I am sure for other hotel guests as well. It is a ridiculous policy, it was a waste of food, and we were able to bring a to go order from the bar to our room no problem. We spent over $150 in the hotel bar that evening, and I would assume breakfast is added into the cost of the room so the fact we could not take it to our room after verifying my name and room number is just does not make any sense.
I am hoping very much this is handled appropriately and now question all of my future reservations for the summer that are all Hilton properties as well. Your security guard was rude, disrespectful, and very aggressive which is not okay.
