Lovely hotel with great facilities and an exceptional room. Staff fantastic and helpful and excellent food and drink quality including fast room service
Nothing!
Reception staff and bar staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was really disappointing. Choice and quality of food poor compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Glasgow. Serving hot food before we had even finished our cereal was not relaxing and the hot food was bland. Room set up not relaxing and noise from outside disrupted sleep.
It was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The rooms were large
It was too dark for me but my teenage daughter loved it.
Tiny portions; a single sliced mushroom, a shot glass-sized serving of beans, etc.
The room was disappointing; not available at check-in time - the staff had a reason but it was a very much 'their problem that they made our problem' issue. Yes, they offered free breakfast but we needed to get in, showered & changed for a function. Other annoyances: no power sockets near the bed, shower randomly alternating from freezing cold to scalding hot, double glazing full height sliding window dangerously broken, mini-bar not stocked & dazzling spotlights in the ceiling. Staff were friendly enough but obviously unable to resolve any of these issues during our stay.
Location and price
Work be done on frontage .. would have been nice to know
Creaking floorboards constantly felt as if someone was walking about in our room and couldn't sleep and on leaving reception was never even asked if we had enjoyed our stay or if everything was ok. Very poor all round
Location was great. Bed was so comfy. Staff were so friendly and very helpful. Room service food was delicious
Breakfast lights too dark, tea was cold out of the flask
Central so convenient to what we were looking for
Room was very smelly, unfortunate works going on and very dusty.
Amazing room. Lovely bar. Very Clean
Room was too warm 1st night. Issue with aircon/fan was extremely quickly dealt with by reception and engineer.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Our room location was terrible. It was on the ground floor behind the front desk and next door to the room was an office in rented by a non-related business. We could hear banging and bumping until they left at close of business. The quality of our rooms have been poor several times when booking through Booking.com. I'm beginning to wonder if it is because we are booking through Booking.com.
No cash payment for drinks
Convenient location
Felt very dark, not especially wecoming in yterms of decor or staff
