Pleasant staff and ideal location, hotel maintenance poor and overlooked! Not value for money.
Pros:

Location is good. The staff were courteous and friendly.

Cons:

Poorly maintained. The creaking floors were excruciating to walk on. Sounded like an amplified bowl of rice crispies with every footstep. The plumbing needs updating urgently for the wellbeing of visitors and health and safety for everyone. The sinks are backing up and waste water isn’t running away as it should. I won’t go into descriptions , you get the idea! Come on Malmaison “ get it sorted out “

Pros:

Best hotel breakfast, bed was really comfy, lovely toiletries

Cons:

Room colour was a bit industrial. Was expecting to have a lovely shower as it was a rainfall shower but sadly it was not powerful. Sink didn’t drain well

The hotel was nice but I was surprised when it fell short in the areas I've mentioned.
Pros:

Nice large room, clean, good tea and coffee facilities.

Cons:

There were no plug sockets by the bed. We had to go looking for the second bath towel in the wardrobe.
The large bed was two beds pushed together and you could feel the gap.
