Pros:

Estrel hotel is a large complex with rooms, congress center etc, always full of people. Although the hotel tries to come accross as something exceptional, the experience was rather average.

Rooms are good and beds are comfy, what is missing is any equipment for cooking yourself a cup of tea, coffee or similar. Minibar offers water for 5 EUR/bottle. Breakfast was nice and lots of options. Staff always helpful. A small gym and wellness also part of the hotel, we didn’t dare to try it since there might be millions of people as all the time in this hotel.😀

What is the most disturbing and actually disgusting 🤮 thing is the smokers in front of the immediate entrance. Should you come from down where the stairs are, get ready to fight yourself a way through the cancer-giving wall of smoke. Ridiculous. A hotel that strives to be great should really dedicate a different special spot for those who love killing themselves and they should not be killing us, non/smokers.

Some taxi drivers love to stop centimeters in front of the entrance, blocking everyone else to get in or out, guess a simple info table could fix this.

PS- a bit strange neighborhood.

Pros:

Sehr stilvolles und gepflegtes Hotel mit einer beeindruckenden Lobby und professionellem Empfang. Wir haben sogar ein kostenloses Zimmer-Upgrade erhalten, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Insgesamt sehr sauber, freundliches Personal und dank eines sehr guten Angebots ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie.

Cons:

Das Frühstück sowie das Parken im hoteleigenen Parkhaus sind mit jeweils etwa 25 € recht teuer, weshalb wir darauf verzichtet haben. In den angrenzenden Straßen konnten wir jedoch problemlos kostenlos parken, wie viele andere Gäste auch.
