Every thing
I could not go swimming but that was cool tho
I was there to attend a baseball tournament my grandson was in through fri through mon, we chose that property for price, extra separate living area& pull out sofa bed which the mattress on that was terrible, we also went for a property that had a pool&we weren't told it wasn't in service until arriving to check in & we had to sign a form before checking in of non working pool which was terrible for the grand children who looked forward to swimming , our room was comfortable, but didn't appreciate the staff nonchalant attitude of pool not being in service & it wasn't told to customers on the site before booking
They should have put on site that pool wasn't gonna be working on the site& better mattress on pull out bed
This was a Stay-to-play property for my son’s baseball tourney that our team booked. Upon arrival to this hotel, we were informed by the front desk that we had been downgraded to a 1-king bedroom. (We had specifically booked a 2-bedroom, 2 kings plus sofa bed room.) They over booked and didn’t have any more of the room type that we booked. (Btw, our entire team booked this room type and they downgraded every single one of us!)
We specifically booked this property because of the 2-bedroom kings’ suite. We would never have booked a Sonesta hotel otherwise.
The manager I spoke with the following day after check in informed me that she personally called everyone to let them know about the downgrade. That is a lie. Neither my husband or myself was called and informed that. In fact, if we were called and told that I would have immediately booked another hotel. She was curt and almost rude about the entire situation.
Extremely frustrating and disappointing, to say the least.
It appears this may be common practice for this specific hotel property.
(Another minor side note: on the stay to play it listed this property to include free parking. Upon arrival, we were informed of the $6/per day parking fee.)
Location
Came there with a baseball team and wasn’t told until we arrived that we couldn’t use the pool. Should have been told them at booking or given a discount for not having it available.

Some parts were a little run down, but overall it was great- especially for the price.
Buyer beware! I am completely disgusted by our experience. We were in town for a two today, little league, baseball tournament. We had over 15 families staying at this hotel. Some of the families did not have air-conditioning throughout their room. Some of the families did not have hot water. Some of the families did not have water at all. The air conditioner and fridges, in most of the rooms, rattle like they're a rocket getting ready to takeoff. Most of the rooms smell like mold and mildew.The pool is broken and according to the desk staff has been for many many months, with no projected opening date. The grill in the outdoor dining area is flooded with water and not work. Our team being able to spend time together in our off time from the games was the main attraction to us staying here. These issues should have been disclosed at the time of booking. It's obvious all they care about is money and not customer satisfaction. The staff could care less. They offered no fixes to our stay and no restitution price wise. I contacted corporate and as expected, I never heard a response. As someone who has been in Customer Service my whole life I am completely disgusted by this property.
Staff was friendly
Facilities and cleaning. I didn't stay, we canceled and I'm still waiting on a refund. Booking said they were not going to charge but they did. Not to happy with the experience.
It was located where we needed it to be.
During our day, the pool was a gross green color and was unavailable. The breakfast was not as good as the breakfast that we had at our other two hotel during our trip. It was pretty rough.
The hallway had a smell to it. I personally also did not like the layout that you had to go to a different building from your room to even go to breakfast or the lobby area so to speak. This is definitely one we will avoid in the future.
