Really helpful staff. Great choice at breakfast. Relaxing bar area to chill.

This was our second stay at the Maison Astor and it was as wonderful as our first experience. Everyone on staff is professional, courteous and tentative. If you need ANYTHING during your stay, do not hesitate to ask Stephane at the concierge-he goes above and beyond. The rooms are clean and well kept. The location is perfect walking distance to many metro stops and a short 15 minute walk to Galeries Lafayette and Pritemps. The breakfast selection is huge and everyone can find something they want. We will return next time we are in Paris!
My wife and I spent five days at the Maison Astor last week and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the property and our stay. The concierge(s) and staff were courteous, pleasant and always helpful from arrival through departure when they provided us unexpected breakfast boxes for the trip to the airport. Our room, while modestly sized, was well appointed. It’s only drawback was facing Rue d’Astorg when there was much activity for delivery and work overnight, more than we anticipated. I would recommend the hotel for all its merits, including a very convenient location to access many of the superb experiences Paris has to offer.
The breakfast was fantastic and really good service from the staff!
Smell of sewer outside the room 212, constant.
Fabulous location, beautiful accommodations, and wonderful attentive staff. We were able to walk to all the major sightseeing areas from this hotel. The concierges were especially helpful.
This hotel had a lot of potential but fell short of expectations. It’s a decent location and the rooms and lobby are beautiful. The room is small yet the bathroom is incredibly large by comparison, with a lot of dead space that could have been better allocated to make the room less tight. Our room also had a few moths; I killed about two a day during our four-day stay. The shower is poorly designed and you end up with a lot of water on the bathroom floor no matter how you position the shower head. The glass partition is too narrow to keep the water inside the shower/tub. It’s also an incredibly tall tub which makes it harder to get out of when the bathroom floor is all wet. There is no outlet in the bathroom (or hair dryer provided by the hotel). I brought an electric toothbrush that I had to plug in the room because of the lack of outlets in the bathroom, and when I wanted to dry my hair, it had to be done in the room because there is no outlet in the bathroom. The staff was ok but no one was friendly. And the breakfast gets crowded (or the dining room is too small to accommodate all the potential people). On two days, we had to wait for a table when we went down for breakfast at around 9am. The breakfast also needs more staff. When it was busy, I was unable to get a waiter to place an order, and I was not informed that I could order eggs (fried, omelet, or scrambled) in addition to the buffet. I only figured it out because I overheard the table next to us ordering it one morning. Overall, the hotel is ok, but if I came back to Paris, I’d stay elsewhere.
The overall experience was terrible. The staff are difficult, the service was terrible, the room service wasn’t good, the room cleaning was bad, they didn’t replenish conditioner or the q tips or change or clean or properly hang body towels. Rooms smelled damp, fridge completely empty, though water is provided. Room service has a tray charge of 15 euros and by 10:05 am they’ve run out of food. It was bizarrely bad. Management arrogant and complicated. It was like 2-3 star place.
Just a top notch hotel! All employees were so friendly and kind from start to finish. Daily breakfast was magnificent. Our room 708, was perfect for two people plenty of space, nice clarins products in bathroom, nespresso coffee in room, awesome amenities all around. They cleaned the room multiple times each day which we didn’t even think it needed. It was above and beyond. Michael in concierge a complete gentlemen helping us find a room to suit our needs. Leila in the restaurant going above and beyond writing down instructions to get to the st ouen market by Train. She was so sweet and patient. We stayed at the Hilton Paris opera in August and happy we chose the maison Astor curio this trip, it exceeded our expectations. Location A+
Superb hotel. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. We went to Paris for our 25th anniversary and they had a bottle of champagne and macaroons as a surprise in the room! Beyond our expectations!!
We spent 8 nights at this property. Warm welcome at the front desk and the door man took care of our suitcases.
Our room was very spacious (which is not the norm in Paris) and clean, I just wish it had more closet space. Breakfast was included in our reservation and it was excellent, many options to choose from, and made to order omeletes. The crepes and pastries were delicious.Prices are very reasonable at the restaurant for dinner.
Hotel is located in a quiet street, however, it is close to the Metro station, the bus and walking distance to many places of interest.
Concierge was very attentive and helpful. The gym is quite small, but doable.
Antonin, (Guest Relation) was on top of things and made sure our needs were met. Staff is wonderful. I love the fact that they provide a water bottle and refill stations. I would definetly stay here again.
very nice and quiet location
The shower can be sometimes too hot and sometime too cold

I like the coziness, how helpful the staff were
I liked the location, it's located near grocery stores, boutiques, it's central
The Maison Astor hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely part of Paris. I spent many hours researching our stay and couldn’t be more pleased with our final choice. Our suite was beautiful with thoughtful storage and a lovely terrace. The breakfast was an amazing start to our day, but the stand out was the amazing staff who anticipated our needs and were professional in every way. I want to thank the manager who recognized our wedding anniversary and the front desk staff who made any request we had seem their pleasure to assist. When I return to Paris, this lovely hotel will be my family’s first choice!
First visit outside of airport to Paris. This hotel is off the beaten path and easy to walk past if you are not paying attention. Stayed in a room with a large patio with a table and 4 chairs, great spot to drink a bottle of wine after a long day of walking around to see the sites. Hotel has small number of rooms, which I did not mind at all. The elevator is tiny, pack light! Employees were helpful and breakfast was good. Did not spend much time at the hotel except in the evening on the patio before going to bed. We ate at several restaurants that we found along the way....Snails and French Onion Soup on multiple occasions. Overall good experience.
Truly one of the best hotels in Paris when it comes to service and attention to detail.
The breakfast is delicious and a real highlight of the stay.
A big thank you to the exceptional concierge team, wonderfully led by Stéphane.
Friendly, professional, and always ready to go to outside of their way to help with anything we may need!
A fantastic hotel that makes you feel genuinely welcome! I highly recommended
This is a gorgeous boutique hotel in the 8th arrondissement (8ème), one of the city's most central and prestigious districts. It is close to the major sights in Paris, within a 30-minute walk of most of them, yet on a quiet side street. We felt very safe walking around the streets, both during the day and at night. The reception, bar and hotel décor are immaculate, with plenty of charm. We stayed in a Premium King room, which was a little small, but it was very warm, clean and comfortable, with no street noise. Housekeeping did an amazing job every day, and we couldn't fault their attentiveness. The concierge staff were really helpful, happy to book taxis, make recommendations on where to eat, and book tickets for us - like the Big Bus city tour. We didn't eat in the hotel because we wanted to experience 'real Parisian life', but we loved it for its classic Parisian atmosphere, location and décor.

I stayed at the Maison Astor Paris for 3 nights business trip and then additional 3 nights for a family trip. Overall, it was a GREAT stay, and I would love to stay again. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel A LOT, the hotel location is great, very convenient for both business and family vacation, and what stood out was the exceptional level of support that I was able to get from the hotel team, especially I would like to recognize 3 team members: Aziz, Antonin and Logan, they all did an exceptional job in helping me with my requests whether it was related to my business stay or my private/family stay throughout the weekend, it was super valuable and highly appreciated and I would definitely love to come and stay again at this hotel mostly thank to their great level of service.
