Pros:

It is very clean and comfortable

Cons:

I found it odd that there was no security safe or any bottle water in the room.? The pool was ..ok but needed some light cleaning?

Definitely would stay here again
Pros:

Breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. Our room was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond for us. There are restaurants in the hotel and within walking distance. Close to the airport and they offer free transport.

Cons:

The pillows were a little small.

A Breath of Fresh Air with Perks!
Pros:

The front office staff at 2AM were INCREDIBLE!!! My friend and I had to leave our previous hotel because it was absolutely disgusting and we were able to find a last minute room (because of the kindness of the front desk) at this hotel which was a BREATH of fresh air! The room was great and the free uber to the airport was such a blessing! I highly recommend staying here!

2 major flaws
Pros:

This is a decent hotel. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is above average. There were only 2 major issues. 1. The elevators are terrible. One of them is broken and the other one is so slow I took the stairs instead to our room. We were staying on the 5th floor, that’s how bad it was. 2. The seating area for breakfast is too small. When you eat you might as well have strangers eat at your table because there is no room. This isn’t a bad hotel for the price, but those 2 issues need to be addressed.

Quick, but great stay
Pros:

My family of five had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Place Tampa Airport/Westshore. While we were not able to completely enjoy all aspects of our stay due to a late arrival and morning departure, we were really impressed with our first stay at a Hyatt property.

The hotel does not have a shuttle to or from the airport, but does book you a complimentary ride through Lyft or Uber. We did not book this service as it was late at night and already had one scheduled. We tried utilizing the digital key as it was 12:30 in the morning, but the system wasn’t up and running yet. The front desk was able to quickly assist us with room keys and gave us a welcome bag full of two waters and a bag of peanuts.

We loved how spacious the room was. It was easy for us all to get ready quickly for bed because of the sink outside of the restroom. There was plenty of space to put all of our bags as well. The beds were comfortable, just make note that they are doubles, not queens.

My family stays at a variety of different brand hotels and we were definitely impressed with the breakfast spread here!

Even though we were only at Thai hotel for about 10 hours, we were very impressed with this Hyatt property. We look forward to future stays at other Hyatts!
