Hotel AKA Washington Circle

Everything about our stay was lovely. Highly recommend for a getaway or longer term stay-it was very clean, quiet and peaceful. The staff was kind and genuinely welcoming across the board throughout our stay, from the valet/doormen, front desk staff, manager, to the housekeeping staff. I expected it to be nice, but it really exceeded my expectations. The 1BR suite was SO comfortable and had a great balcony with seating. Loved the Nespresso and other hospitality details provided. We will definitely return here. The restaurant in the hotel was good, but the neighborhood is also full of excellent restaurants and cafes too, and it’s an easy walk to Georgetown.

Good location

The location of the akahotel in Washington Circle is close to the Foggy Bottom metro stop. The front of the hotel looks out upon the Circle, park benches await a respite from a busy schedule.
Hotel rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean.
The staff is professional, welcoming, personable, eager to please. Shoutouts to Nick at the helm, Tyler at the front desk, and Manuel in the lobby, always willing to assist.
I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in our nation’s capital.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aka! It was in a great location in the Foggy Bottom area and we loved how nice it was. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (thank you Tyler, Manuel, and all the valet and front staff). For every need we had, they were quick to deliver it. Our room was so cozy. I loved the dimensions of the room, the extra lighting and huge mirrors for pictures. The only thing I didn’t really like was the shower; it’s very open and no way to close it so water can get onto the floor if you aren’t careful. But overall it was a beautiful bathroom. The bed was also clean and comfortable! The cherry on top was the seamless check in and check out processes. We’ll definitely be staying again when we’re back in the city!

Oh my GOSH - this hotel is everything. We come to DC often and have stayed at dozens of hotels, however AKA will be the first property we become regulars at.

The service here is unmatched, they upgraded us AND left a note and champagne for my husband’s birthday, room service was excellent, the overall service was top tier and the accommodations were luxurious.

The breakfast in-room was fabulous, and every person we interacted with was so incredibly kind and thoughtful.

We booked via AMEX travel and will be coming back here when we travel here in the summer. Thank you to the management and amazing staff at AKA!

Additionally - the gym was great, and had fantastic basics for a good workout.

Fantastic stay with Tyler helping out with everything that was requested and more, next time I'm in DC I will definitely be going back.

A bit of a secret - wonderful property! All the staff: Kaitlyn, Manuel, etc are top-flite! The hotel is comfortable, well appointed, and in a great location
