Great city stay
Pros:

Felt welcomed from the time we entered the Hilton. Greeted by lovely and helpful staff- shout out to kawishan, bakthi and Jerry.
Room, amenities and facilities all great. Room was Very clean and modern.
Enjoyed the buffet for dinner- which had a range of options.
Great location. Walking stance from train station. The Hilton Made our time in Colombo memorable.

Sympathisches Hotel in sehr guter Lage, klare Empfehlung
Pros:

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr schönes großes gut ausgestattetes Zimmer, herausragendes Frühstücksbuffet von Umfang und Qualität und sehr nettes Personal auch im Frühstücksbereich. auf der Holzterrasse außen am Koi- Karpfenteich sitzt man wunderschön. Das Hotel ist zwar schon eines der älteren in Colombo, aber sehr gepflegt und nicht so überdimensioniert wie manche ganz neuen Hotels – im Gegensatz dazu hat es eine fast heimelige Atmosphäre, was ich sehr geschätzt habe.

Cons:

Der Poolbereich ist nicht schlecht, aber richtig schön finde ich ihn auch nicht, da ist noch Luft nach oben, deshalb auch ein Punkt Abzug.

Fantastic service, a free room upgrade, and thoughtful surprises made our stay

We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Colombo. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They even upgraded our room for free, which was a lovely surprise. When they realized it was our special day, they sent us complimentary gifts, which made the experience even more memorable.

Everything about our stay was top-notch, from the service to the atmosphere. We truly appreciated the thoughtful gestures from the team. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend Hilton Colombo to anyone looking for a great stay in Colombo.

A Welcoming Oasis in the Heart of Colombo
Pros:

My stay at the Hilton in Colombo was truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the service was incredibly warm and friendly, always accompanied by genuine smiles. I felt sincerely welcomed and at home, even as a Westerner visiting this beautiful country.

The food was excellent. As someone who is usually vegetarian, traveling can sometimes make meals a little challenging. Here the food was consistently delicious. The hotel even served wonderful local dishes. One dish in particular, a chicken curry, sounded so good that I decided to try it. I am very glad I did. It exceeded my expectations with a beautiful burst of flavor and helped me better appreciate the richness of the local cuisine.

In fact, I often preferred eating at the hotel rather than going out to restaurants in the city. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and full of care.

The hotel itself was also impressively clean and professionally presented. Considering how vibrant and busy the city of Colombo can be, full of life, noise, and movement, the Hilton felt like a calm oasis in the middle of it all.

It became the perfect place for me to settle in, do my online work, and relax while being so well cared for by the staff. Rahman the manager and Shanthq the supervisor made sure I was well taken care of throughout my stay, which I truly appreciated.

Take some time in the afternoon to visit the pond area and watch the goldfish. There is a very kind older gentleman who feeds them, and it is heartwarming to see how much care he gives them and how they respond to him. It is a peaceful little moment that shows the human side of the hotel.

You will also notice the beautiful black swans nearby. In the middle of a busy and energetic city like Colombo, this small area of water and wildlife offers a lovely connection to nature and a quiet pause from the city around you.

If you dine at Graze Kitchen, I highly recommend the tofu with vegetables and organic brown rice. It was fresh, flavorful, and a great option for anyone looking for a lighter or vegetarian friendly meal.

In the evenings there is often live music playing, which creates a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere around the hotel.

And do not leave without trying something from the pastry shop. The red velvet cupcake I had was absolutely delicious and a perfect treat.

I am very grateful for the experience and would happily stay here again.
