Th staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble.

The front desk should explain to the guest upon check in. Even we booked via booking. com, should pay room charge in hotel instead of being charge by app booking. com

It’s not that we didn’t like, the food is good, but we found the evening dinner a little cold,
Location was good, food was good, comfortable bed and pillows. Customer service from waiting staff was also good.
The pool is not with the hotel, it is a walk over an overbridge which takes about 5 minutes..it’s not the end of the world but did feel inconvenient when you are wet and have to walk quite a bit to get back to the hotel and room.
House keeping and front of house was inconsistent. House keeping did improve when I pointed out a few things though so won’t be too harsh. Front of house was not what I would expect from a Hilton hotel. Not organised and not able to think outside the box. All issues I had were addressed by a fantastic female supervisor which was good. She listened and actioned.
I ate at the Chinese restaurant. Staff weee attentive, friendly and courteous.
Food was excellent and the decor was beautiful

It was a bit difficult to get a hold of room service through the intercome but it was manageable. So I would not write anything negative.
Newly refurbished room with good facilities that you would expect from such a hotel brand. Charging sockets, blackout blinds to name a few.

The kind of guests the property is attracting recently, who have no decorum to be staying at a 5 star hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton. The staff were incredibly accommodating, kindly arranging an early check-in and a room with a beautiful view, which made our arrival so much more comfortable. The thoughtful daily gestures; chocolates, fresh fruits, and delicious short eats were a lovely touch and truly made us feel valued. The food throughout our stay was outstanding, with a great variety and excellent quality. Exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made this a memorable experience. We would happily stay again and highly recommend the Hilton.

Having visited several Colombo hotels, my recommendation would be to be nearer to the Cinnamon Gardens district.
On arrival, the front office took 500 USD from my debit card.
On check-out I was informed that they could not deduct this 500 USD from my bill and that I would receive a refund. So, I paid my bill in full and waited for my 500 USD to be returned. Two weeks later, no refund so I visited the hotel in person again and was again assured that it was being processed. Another two weeks went by and still my money had not been returned.
During this time I raised an official issue through the Hilton International central web site. This got me nowhere.
After numerous emails, it became clear that the Hilton Colombo had paid my 500 USD somewhere to my bank but not directly to my account and they asked me to contact my bank to see what they had done with my money.
At no time in this incompetence did anyone take ownership to resolve my issue, I had to push at every step.

朝食も種類がたくさんあり、プールも広く、過ごしやすかったです。
