RedDoorz Plus near UV Mandaue Cebu

This place is located in the heart of Mandaue, making it convenient as everything is within walking distance and public transport can be accessed outside the lobby. You can’t beat the price.
This trip I stayed the whole 7 months and have had no issues.

I’m from the United States and I usually stay at this hotel because of its location. It is in the heart of Mandaue, only a few minutes away from the airport. Aside from their reasonable rates, the staff are very friendly and nice. I kept extending my stay - I’ve been here since June, and still here.

I was not happy with my last stay at this property 6 months ago. Now I’m back 6 months later and many things have improved (rooms, staff, guards etc). Everyone is so helpful.

I visit Cebu twice a year for months at a time. This place is not only convenient as far as transportation, but the price is unbeatable. Great deal I might say.
Happy with the stay and will come again.

Facilities OK, most of the time no hot water, generator only works 4 hours making it difficult to move around during black out. Very noisy, you can here people above you and next door to you. Traffic outside is bad 24 hours, very limited parking. Staff will not clean the room unless you request it. This hotel has an event banquet up on the 5th floor. When there’s a party it is hard to sleep - very noisy esp if you are on 4th floor. You can here banging loud music vibrating through the walls, and dragging of chairs. The air conditioner sometimes doesn’t work - it lost it’s remote control. The maintenance person just gave me a blanket, cause it was blasting and they could not fix it. The water that runs through faucet is brown for a few minutes, so make sure you let it run through. Water is smelly probably from chemical treatment. If you want to shower in hot water - take a shower before 5am.
The security guards are very helpful.

At first I was not aware that the hotel was on the side but the location was accurate. I emailed them before but there was no reply but that did not bther me at all. Place was kept neat and tidy. Everything was working. But you can’t expect everything to be perfect in a budget hotel. As long as there’s a bed bathroom and some form of ventilation.. and a thing called a water heater, you’re good to go. Stayed for 3 days and it was worth it. Thanks.

They have a little gym next door which was a good surprise. Dirty but it has cables and a few dumbbells so it works. Nothing really around the area but the restaurant was open and had a good breakfast.
The best thing about the hotel was the staff. I booked a wrong day & they went out of their way to deal with Expedia and the RedDoorz staff to get it fixed. I have stayed at the horrible Zen Rooms who have the Chinese mentality. They would risk losing a year of extra money to cheat the price of coffee out of you. I will never do Zen rooms again. I have paid a little extra at different places to avoid the horrible experiences I had at Zen rooms (bad wifi & things you'd never expect). But for this room, it was clean, good hot water, very good wifi and a great helpful staff. Rena, Karl and Malou were good people and I wish all hotels had staff like them, but unfortunately very few hotels are helpful like these guys.

Room was small, had to gargle with a cup that you urinate in, felt somthing touch my leg first assumed i was getting lucky next thing i know i see a full grown rat running up my leg freaked out and manager refused to give me a refund.

No phones in each room if there is an emergency you have to run to the hall way outside to ring..the mattress slides out of the bed frame no bar fridge no follow up if u want your room clean for the day

Had a great experienced.. The roor was and relaxing. Also, the sraff/s are so accomodating.

Was not able to complete the trip tried to call and cancel the phone number that was left for contact was wrong number still charge me. They said there was no refunds even though they left wrong contact number On confirmation email. Expedia said there was nothing they could do.Absolutely no protection from Expedia at all

It was very clean and tighty. the bathroom was nice and clean and had everything i needed. a small toothbrush and toothpaste and razor. It also had shampoo and body wash . Enjoyed the stay very much.

This hotel is in the worst possible location. Its a very dangerous location in the ghetto. It’s the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever set foot in. We booked for two nights and left after 30 minutes. It’s beside a busy nasty smoggy street. The lobby is disgusting, the bed was pure foam and not a real mattress, and the satellite tv consists of 5 channels. Don’t stay at this place, the pictures are a lie.

Quality of rooms is not really good. Very loud from the street. Bathroom totally overflowed after showering. Bed very soft. Even it’s good place to stay there if all this matters are acceptable for someone. Close to the airport.

Staff was ok, but not too friendly.

Nice bed and spacious room. Price is affordable.
