Wonderful Hotel
Pros:

My wife and I took a trip to Vancouver, and stayed several nights at the Metropolitan Hotel. We loved it, a very nice hotel. Absolutely perfect staff in every way, from the front desk to bell staff to housekeeping. A model experience. Clean, beautiful, great sleeping. Loved the location: walkable to anywhere including the ship pier, shopping, restaurants, even Stanley Park. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Comfortable Stay
Pros:

Great stay here, central location handy for shopping centre and bus connections. Excellent staff, very helpful at reception - can recommend Diva restaurant (especially the lobster ravioli and the fab cocktails at the bar).

Loved it, but wouldn't stay again due to lack of laundry facilities.
Pros:

Everything was great. We had breakfast and it was delicious! The entire staff that we had contact with was very kind and helpful. The room was small but nice. I loved the big windows! The beds were very comfortable!!!

Cons:

Elevator! One was down for repair and it was quite difficult to get an empty elevator when my husband was in a wheel chair.
I also didn't like that you did not have a laundry room at the hotel. I had no intentions of sending my clothes out to be cleaned, so we held onto them and did laundry on our cruise. This was a big inconvenience for me, and the ONLY reason I would not stay here again!

Pros:

Great location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious,clean, and mirrored bathroom beautiful. Shout out to the Hotel desk staff and concierge Mario for their genuine concern and valued assistance when my Sister fell ill.

Location great, shopping centre directly across the Street with food court, short walk to a Discount Souvenir shop, and Cafe Medina - very popular local eats spot (helpful desk staff gave us that tip), can take longer walk to Aquabus ferry to Granville Island.

Très bonne option pour visiter Vancouver.
Pros:

Très bon emplacement pour visiter le nord de Vancouver, près de Gastown et du parc Stanley. Petit déjeuner top !

Cons:

Chambre petite pour le prix et surtout très froide. Après l’avoir signalé des couvertures supplémentaires nous ont été fournies.

Terrific Stay
Pros:

This is fantastic hotel, exceptional service and a great location. Very walkable to Robson Street & Gastown. The rooms were quiet, with comfy beds. We appreciated our small balcony that opened to enjoy some fresh air while we were in our room.
