Pros:

All was good and enjoyed my stay

Cons:

Even though I’m visibly disabled, I was directed up three steps in the dining room without handrail to my table for dinner
Dinner was very disappointing
I think once again due to the waiter he gave me a small bread roll with my soup and I asked him if I could have another and he said but these are baked freshly. I didn’t ask that I just asked for another bread roll.
On the Sunday morning on my return from breakfast at 9:45 am unfortunately my plastic key had been cancelled so I had to walk the 60 m back to the left back down the left to the reception to get the key updated to which the reception is said yes, it the computer keeps cancelling the keys which really didn’t help me

A very tired hotel
Pros:

Stayed for 1 night to attend the theatre. Very disappointing, for £90+ a night, there are better alternatives. Breakfast overcooked, room cold, bathroom not the cleanest, mattress very hard.

It’s obviously not as impressive as it once was but it’s great value for money, we would definitely go back
Pros:

It’s a fantastic looking hotel which was obviously very impressive in its heyday, the reception retains many apparently original features and still looks great, the rooms are modern and of a good standard, staff on reception and at breakfast were brilliant!

Cons:

Breakfast quality was t brilliant but plenty of choice
