To be honest didn't like much we stayed here over 35years ago and nothing had changed!
The room we were first given was dreadful but thanks to Nikki on reception we moved to a slightly better room
I really liked the revamped dinning room. Especially the introduction of hot drinks machine since our last stay. Good choice of food at breakfast. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We didn’t have a sea room but the room was large, light and airy with a nice bathroom and shower. The room was clean and there was plenty of storage space. Loved the heated towel rail and a well stocked tea/coffee making facility. Plenty of places to sit for a drink or a read in the bar or lounge areas. Plenty of parking spaces.
A chair in our room was rather stained and could do with a shampoo or similar.
The location was great
The place was filthy. We chose not to have breakfast due to the dirty look of the place.
Filthy doors, carpet, blood on the wall by the lift.
Very dated. Only one member of staff on check in as so queued for half an hour
Trams outside hotel
Bread at breakfast wasn't fresh, and hotel dirty.
Excellent Breakfast
£14 for overnight car park too expensive. Miss the days when our stay at the Blackpool Impreial Hotel included complementary parking.
Also the very long queue - stretching to out of the front door - to simple check in after 3pm was frustrating - see photo attached)
The welcome from reception was warm and friendly.
The room on the third floor was spacious with the added bonus of a seaview.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Worth noting it's £12 if you pay on day at reception.
The key cards are confusing as if you follow the arrow it's back to front and upside down.
The lift was a tight fit for my daughter's wheelchair.
The bath and shower curtain were full of hairs.
We had you use a fire extinguisher to prop the doors open to get the wheelchair through.
Overall I would stay again but not with someone who needed accessible options.
The location , the price , the breakfast and the staff were extremely friendly
The queue to check in was too long and only one poor person on reception trying to cope
It’s very tired. I’ve only ever checked out early in my history. I checked out early and I was only staying one night. Sorry about writing this review but I think it’s a sign of the times for Blackpool. I couldn’t stay and relax, it was more like a hostel.
1st class
The member of staff who checked us in was excellent. She was faced with massive queues of people and she was so helpful and efficient. All the staff I encountered were super friendly.
Gorgeous hotel just tired what ashame
Age and history
Comfy bed, had good night sleep as was quiet, great buffet breakfast with good selection
Parking cost £14 for 1 night, lift broken so had to use alternative lift which had a mind of its own, ended up in basement trying to get to level 3
Na
Don't know were to start
Breakfast was reasonable.
Cleanliness of room was poor, furniture basic and shabby
Food was good
Rooms looking tired and not clean
