Staff was great, room was clean and location was excellent

Cons:

There is no AC even though it states there is. There method of “cooling” the rooms is not an AC it is wise to know that anywhere in the old town of Zurich none of the buildings have AC and they cannot have AC. The hotel was nice to provide a fan in the room.

Magnifico hotel con muy buena ubicación y desayuno.
Pros:

La ubicación estupenda, habitación muy grande y con doble ventanal. Y el desayuno bien, podías pedir bastantes cosas, porque expuestas no había muchas, pero había una carta bastante completa. Además el horario de 7.00 a 11.00 perfecto. Siempre había cerca bicis lime y el tranvía en frente.

Cons:

que el gym no tenia aire acondicionado y cerraba a las 18.00 h. Había obras al lado.

Location good - noise level not good. For the price of $600 USD we were given a first floor room which was loud. Air
Pros:

A 4 minute walk to the main train station

Cons:

The constant noise - on the first floor - from the passing bus/trams … it was a constant rumble late in evening and early in morning . Also air conditioning appeared to not be able to keep up with the heat

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Central and have no problem recommending it.
Pros:

It was an easy walk from the train station. The “garden view” room was good but the view was obstructed by construction- no one’s fault.

The restaurant was good but the staff made it great. Several students were in training and the waitress who was overseeing them was fantastic.

Cons:

The shower floor was quite slippery so we placed a hand towel on the floor. Be careful with this
