Lovely stay at a very central location
Pros:

The location was excellent. Really close to train station, old town and Zurich lake. We had an upgrade to a suite which was beautiful

Pros:

Words cannot describe the excellent quality of the food. Bedroom and bathroom perfect.

Cons:

When we checked in we were given a small bedroom that had been renovated
It was too small and did not have a wardrobe just a rail with hangers. This is an expensive hotel and we expected better. They gave us an upgrade to compensate.

Ideal for short visit to Zurich - centrally located for train station

Location was spot on for us, directly in front of the main station.

The room was quiet although it was on the front of the hotel looking onto main street and river.

I enjoyed reading the complimentary book in the room about the history of the hotel and the owners. Fascinating.

For one night hotel was great. Room was a little small but I guess that might be average for Zurich. Close to the river for a pleasant walk and near to a few bars. The hotel bar Central One was very nice and we had a lovely meal - although expensive for what it was - but that's Zurich prices. Bar staff were very nice and there was an entertaining pianoist. Several people were dancing which was nice.

Cons:

It may have been me as I had had a long journey - 11 hours by train from Budapest - but on arrival I found the receptionist over jovial manner a bit irritating, making jokes when I just wanted to check in smoothly and get a shower. He was otherwise very pleasant.

On getting a taxi to airport, be careful. The driver said he was on a meter but what he failed to tell us was they charged a surcharge for luggage - the 10 min journey to the airport ended up costing nearly Euros 80. Just because we had a large suitcase and one carry on between us !

Amazing with great connections but hard beds

Excellent Location, staff were friendly, Kings Cave Fillet steak was excellent. Had Junior Suite which was spacious
