Quiet and comfortable stay
Pros:

The decor of the hotel, the room was large and comfortable and the hotel had great amenities. Rotorua is a spa town and this hotel lived up to my expectations of a spa break.

Cons:

The cost of breakfast seemed quite high for what it was. The hotel staff were friendly but had few staff on the reception desk at busy periods such as check out.

Anniversary celebration
Pros:

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too soft. We ended up using the couch cushions. The staff were fantastic, and were the highlight of the stay. We received a gift for our anniversary which was appreciated. We would stay again but would eat elsewhere.

Cons:

The breakfast was poor quality. Bacon was cold, eggs were rubbery, and disappointed with cheap supermarket hash browns.
We also ate dinner. The concept of the meal was great, the execution was lacking. The meat was overcooked, and the fact that only one green bean was included on the plate was an interesting concept. Everything was very minimalist. Molton lava cake was not molton but the flavour was nice. Pips in the sliced orange, and the one teaspoon of cream was not enough to balance the richness of the chocolate. Lots of small things that weren't worth mentioning, but we walked out disappointed.

Restaurant und Empfangsbereich schön und ansprechend. Zimmer schön und gut eingerichtet, aber relativ eng.

Cons:

Zimmer in Geschoss 1 (Erdgeschoss und Garten) für 1 Nacht akzeptabel. Für drei Nächte aber nicht zu empfehlen (relativ dunkel und keine Aussicht)

Enjoyable stay, gateway to adventure.
Pros:

Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Convenient location. Free parking. A place for two suitcases was excellent. Enjoyed drinks at the bar - a great place to spend time with friends.

Cons:

A place for your own shampoo/soap in the shower would be useful. Although the room did not have the "Rotorua" smell, the hallways near our room did.

Pros:

We love everything about our stay. Staff were amazing, the room, pool and spa (and hotel in general)were clean, very comfortable and exactly what we needed! The buffet breakfast was very reasonably priced and delicious. We would definitely stay again.
