Pros:

The location was good as well as the availability of parking.

Cons:

The room seemed a bit "tired" and needed some refreshing. The hallways also seemed a bit tired once you were back in the area where the rooms are located. The bar is dark and not very inviting.

Very disappointing considering the other millinium hotels i have stayed in

Clean room, friendly doorman

Cons:

Went to our room, tried ringing reception, phone wasnt working, not advised by reception on booking in. No streaming services, very limited amenities in the room

Our six night stay.
Pros:

The Millennium is well located and is one of the few hotels with a pretty decent amount of parking spots if you have a rental. Staff were all very courteous and effecient. Food was good, room was spacious, quiet and nice.

Cons:

There was zero issues.

Nice hotel for an overnight stay.
Pros:

Centrally located, reception person was welcoming, clean room, updated bathroom.

Cons:

Faucet over bathroom sink was too large and in thwarting when trying to brush teeth etc.
Buffet breakfast we considered but online said was $60 pp. I only eat cereal and fruit so didn’t want to spend that money for just that.

Definetly coming back.
Pros:

We were changed to a new room immediately due to our spa not being hot enough, staff were helpful and super quick to tend to this matter and we appreciate that so much as it was our only night off all week. Other than that...... Everything was great!

Cons:

Some minor issues, no drinking water taps in room,, had to Uber water, no microwave to heat food. Minor heating issue with spa, had to change rooms but no stress at all.

I really enjoyed my hot stone massage by Appi at the spa. She was amazing and had a beautiful nature.
Pros:

Liked the colors chosen for the room. Felt luxe.

Cons:

Considering it had reno not long ago, not much thought went into to basic things like no shelf in the shower to put anything. It had one hook behind the door to hang things. Nowhere to hook your clothes or toilet bag to.
The water went from cold to scolding. Not even temperature which would be dangerous for kids.
The TV channels seemed to be mostly blocked.
The fridge was ridiculous. The cupboard it was in had the door on the opposite side to the fridge door. Every time you opened the fridge it came forward and the cupboard door scratched it. Pretty dumb.
We turned up an hour earlier to check in because we didn’t to leave our bags in the car at the luge.
The guy was not very helpful and said it would cost us $30 more for early check in. We said we didn’t want to check in early.If we had wanted to $30 is crazy for an hour. The booking we made had gone down in price anyway on the website by $120.
The lovely hot pools were lovely the first night, but the second night were so hot you couldn’t put anything but legs in.

Really recommend this hotel. It’s one of all time favourites in NZ! Well done to the Millenium team!
Pros:

Refurbished since we last visited. Very stylish rooms & super comfortable beds. Lovely addition of a small “sofa” in the room. Our room had a lovely outlook to the garden & sunshine in the afternoon.

Cons:

Rather a long wait to get pool towels from reception as they were busy with all sorts of other things. The staff were doing their best.
