It was okay.
Pros:

Centrally base in Rotorua

Cons:

We found few rubbishes inside our room from the previous guest. Also, no proper handover from staff about our stay.

Another great stay.
Pros:

Although the room was a bit pricey I love staying hete because of the breakfast and the facilities....pool 2 x spas and gym. Best suprise was the club room access we got as part of our room (which explains the cost). They have an exclusive club lounge where you get free canapes (self serve so you can really go for it) and free beer, wine and spirits, again as much as you like from 5 to 7pm. The staff there are beautiful. I cant remember the name of the lady hosting our first night but she was awesome! We then had free continental brekkie....great selection, the beautiful Club Manager there Norrie making flat whites for us....loved it....giving us organic juices to take with us. Sooo amazing. Then obviously took advantage of facilities. Love they have complimentary EV charging as well!!!

Cons:

Wish the Club also had full brekkie. Also the music is quite artsy fartsy and feels quiet sad. Be good to have some Kiwi music or easy listening...something more happy :)

Very comfortable, clean modern rooms.
Pros:

Modern rooms. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Spa experience was amazing.

Cons:

Inconsiderate guests allowing their doors to close loudly as they entered and left them all hours of the night. Takes too long for payment to come off international Visa cards. Didn’t have this experience at other accomodation we stayed at in NZ or USA.

The Millenium was an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We'd stay again.
Pros:

We stayed again as we liked the heated pool. Last time we liked the restaurant too, but didn't go there this time. Walking distance to lake and Eat St is great

Cons:

Towels down in pool area would be easier than going to reception.

My first stay in a Millenium hotel was disappointing
Pros:

Staff was friendly and courteous.

Cons:

Food was mediocre at best. The restaurant which was supposedly “fine dining” did not deliver. Ate there both nights just for convenience and the specials were disappointing. Coffee tasted burnt. Too many groups.

Would recommend as a great place to stay, club facilities are worth the upgrade.
Pros:

The hotel had just underwent a refurbishment of the rooms which was very nice, the bed was heavenly. We opted for the club facilities which were a standout. The food and the exceptional service provided by club host Norrie Areli was the true highlight of our stay there.

Cons:

The quality of service at the main desk was not great which was unexpected for a good hotel. Especially from a female at the front desk, our interactions with her were not the best and were the only downside to our stay there.

Good stay in Millennium Hotel Rotorua
Pros:

Friendly staff, big room, good breakfast and great restaurant where we had our dinner 2 times.

Cons:

Because of its location in town, there can be odors from sulfates in the lake and nearby ponds. This may make your stay unpleasant at night, especially when the wind carries the smell toward the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a great location
Pros:

Beautiful shared spaces. Room refit has been done very well and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very good price specials are available . Location is excellent with plenty of parking available. Staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. Nice breakfast available. Only drawback is the pool is in full view of the breakfast space. But is is of a good size for families to enjoy.
