Perfect female-only stay in Hitoyoshi.

Great location within walking distance of downtown. The room was spacious and quiet, and the shared facilities were spotless. It’s a popular spot for Natsume Yujin-cho fans, and it's a great base for sightseeing. Even with a last-minute reservation, the staff was very welcoming. Highly recommended!

Pros:

対応していただいた奥様が明るく気さくな方で、遠方から来た私にとっては緊張が抜けました(笑)
また日差しの強い日でしたが、自転車を貸していただけたので、目的の場所までスイスイ行けたので良かったです。鍵はオートロック式なのでいつでも自由に出入りが出来、お風呂も温泉を利用出来たので良かったです。女性の一人旅なら全然良いと思います。

Cons:

トイレは部屋には無く、部屋を出た空間に2つあります。人によりますが開け閉めが強い方だと音がするので気になる方は難しいかなと。

Pros:

1. 房東先生是個很大方、很友善的人，當旅人有擔憂或困難的時候，他總會盡力的提供協助，很溫暖人心。我覺得我在人吉遇見的好多巴士司機、店員也都像房東先生ㄧ樣，甚至是跟綠川幸筆下的人物/妖怪一樣，有種溫柔、體貼而優雅的氣質。
2. 房間中那個兩門冰箱（冷藏與冷凍分開）與大洗手槽最令我感到便利。除了洗澡、上廁所或微波加熱食物需要走出房門以外，洗個水果或貼身衣物（用毛巾吸乾水再掛起來，在乾燥的秋冬隔天都會乾）都能在房內自在進行，真的很方便。
3. 房外的交誼廳有冷、熱開水可以取用，這點也很棒。

Cons:

浴室稍有霉味跟黴斑。由於浴室不具有窗戶，僅靠一個小小抽風扇，且浴室門總保持著關閉，要不發霉是很難的。不過並不是太嚴重，稍有潔癖的人只要早點回去，當第一位將浴室從乾燥狀態淋濕的人，感受上就會好很多。

広々部屋で経営している夫婦もとても優しく、徒歩数歩のところに温泉がある。半額宿側が負担してくれた。駐車場も完備されており、雨の日は傘を貸し出して貰えた。WiFi完備。

Pros:

車で3分くらいの温泉券をサービスで頂きました。ウォーターサーバーの水がたくさんいただけておいしかった。トイレと洗面上は共有ですが、冷蔵庫は専用で使わせていただきました。歩いてすぐ行ける近さでおいしい郷土料理店もあり、一人旅を満喫できました。
