Very good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Free parking is always welcome. Breakfast was lovely.
You can tell they're updating the hotel, some areas look a little dated.
Location gd if you driving . Tram across the road into city if thats something you'd want to do
Not much around locally in the way of restaurants, but nicely positioned for a room with a view of quays
Friendly staff. Very quiet at night. Comfortable bed.
Extremely expensive. Not worth £217 a night. If I’d stayed the following night it would have cost £59! That’s about the right price for this hotel. Would not stay again at a price of over £200 a night! . Quality of food is poor. Couldn’t eat the breakfast.
This was my first time staying in one of the refurbished rooms, and the upgrade was a very welcome experience.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, both ladies at check‑in and check‑out made the stay feel even more pleasant.
Breakfast was tasty and had everything needed for a complete and satisfying start to the day.
I also received complimentary refreshment tickets, which I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use, but it was such a lovely surprise and added an extra touch to an already enjoyable stay.
Staff, location, breakfast, comfort
Shame some furniture was so worn in the room, like the table edge
The room had cockroaches, told reception and they changed the room. Wasn’t very clean either
Great location to get the tram into Manchester Piccadilly and also concert venue o2 warehouse
Didn’t offer a lot of gluten free options
Gave us a noisy room across from the carpark and main road - police cars etc zooming up and down all night.
Gave us an adjoining room to other guests for some reason .
1.15am a man came into my room as housekeeping had trapped a wire under the door so it wasn’t secure from outside.
Had to demand another room at 01.30am as wasn’t offered.
Could have been assaulted or burgled! Emailed the hotel manager didn’t care less and wasn’t taken seriously!
Massive issue with security in this hotel - i’m sure if this was the hotel managers wife ( Chris Thompson ) in sure he would be interested then!
If you don’t want random men entering your room while your naked in bed choose. somewhere else
There for a match, it’s was so convenient
Staff were very good
Comfortable bed, large TV with lots of choice what to watch.
The breakfast offering was very good with a pleasant dining room overlooking the quay.
Free parking.
Excellent location with good tram links.
The decor in the room was tired in places, with the door of the cupboard housing the fridge hanging on by one (instead of 4) screws.
The shower was powerful but badly angled and dripped.
Only one pair of slippers and one dressing gown was provided in the double room.
I had to ask for the drinks vouchers that were mentioned in the booking, as these were not provided on check-in, and only 1 each was given for a 2 night stay.
I wouldn't bother paying extra for a 'club room' again.
Bar shuts at 12
