Bathroom needs an update, otherwise a great stay!
Pros:

The location is great. The atmosphere is great. I love their courtyard, it’s inside and spacious. The reception with free drinks and snacks is excellent. The rooms is where I have some critiques. I stayed here years ago with my family and everything seemed clean and well maintained. This room seemed old and sad. You can look closely at the furniture and bathroom and see the wear and it needs an update. Our tub was small and stained. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. The pillows smooshed down to where you need all 3 just to not be uncomfortable. The room didn’t feel clean. Because of the room I felt that the value wasn’t exactly on par for the price. If you’re sleeping the the front section where the couch is and noisy neighbor’s were around it would wake you up or keep you up. I heard no noise in the back bedroom. The breakfast is excellent and the pool/hot-tub was a must to keep my grandchildren entertained. Two things I wish for in this hotel. Update the bathroom and find a way to let guests have a way to dry the bathing suits. Hooks in the shower or more hooks on the bathroom door. The service was wonderful as well. A downside was the 3 roaches we had to kill.

Great hotel to stay in San Antonio
Pros:

Great hotel! Staff very friendly and attentive to help. Love the size of the room suite. Also delicious and fresh breakfast. Highly recommend

Good, not great!
Pros:

Closeness to the airport and restaurants. A real suite, not a pretend one! Ease of booking. Restaurant on the property

Cons:

Heating did not work properly, even after maintenance checked it. There was no follow-up. We were cold.

Too expensive for a mediocre condition.

Staff was friendly.

Cons:

Room condition needs renovation. Bathroom floor laminate was loose and felt warped. Bathroom walls need repainting. AC control failed and had to call to get it looked at but at the end of say was not fixed. Called again and issue was resolved.

I would like a refund or a free night after the repair has been completed
Pros:

The location and the night staff

Cons:

At check in I had 2 rooms and needed to canceled one and told the staff to cancel the least expensive one and she did the opposite.
Entered the room went to get ice and the ice machine on the 4th floor was producing 4 pieces of ice every 2-3 minutes. Had to go somewhere else to get ice very inconvenient.
Turned the ac down while getting dress temp did not adjust so turned it off and left for a concert. Came back several hours later and the room was freezing! Called the front desk and they said they could bring heaters and additional blankets. Maintenance was not working. Dokie with other guest and they had the same problem the day before and it was never fixed. That is beyond acceptable. I haven’t had a chance to ask for a refund or another night when it is repaired. But this review came right in time.

Very nice property although a little dated.
Pros:

Hotel was somewhat dated staff was awesome. Jesse, Mary, Juanita, and Romero were standout staff. Would stay here again. Christina the HGV Ambassador was so cheerful and helpful, wonderful to chat with.
