Good location but extremely overpriced and run down hotel with poor customer service

We booked 2 city view rooms. Run down hotel for example; laminate peeling in lift, holes in bathroom door, thick dust down side of vanity unit and mould in silicone in bathroom, windows to see the view were filthy, bed sheets weren’t changed, foyer areas on hotel floors not vacuumed in our 6 night stay, grubby and old carpet in rooms and throughout hotel, had to ask for coffee machine and was given instant sachets, unhelpful staff (didn’t say hello on check in (just looked up without a smile and opening comment was ‘what’s your name?’ and rolled her eyes when I asked her to repeat the info about the credit card holding process as the lobby music was so loud I couldn’t hear her and then another lady refused to help during the stay for a dinner reservation that we were having difficultly with and said ‘I just can’t help with that’. Certainly not a 4 star hotel.

פשוט עושים עוקץ לכולם פה וממציאים שעישנתם בחדר עם איזה חיישן מומצא וגובים לך מאות דולרים ולא מוכנים להקשיב
ואחרי בדיקה הבנתי שאני לא היחיד ויש עוד עשרות ומאות אנשיפ אחרים שנעקצו!! אז אל תתפתו למלון ופשווט לא לסגור לשם!!

Perfect location for exploring Manhattan, and eat out, there are plenty of good restaurant choices just a short walk awa

Excellent location in Manhattan for a lot of sights.

Cons:

I think the breakfast buffet was too pricey for the quality provided compared to other hotels. I also think staff could have been more friendly, several provided rather indifferent service.
