We were well looked after by the lovely staff who helped us with food allergies and questions about Quito. Hotel systems
Pros:

Large room where we could open windows. Nice pool and spa.

Cons:

A bit of traffic noise but Quito is noisy.

Disappointing, especially compared to the description and expectations
Pros:

Great gym. Big rooms. Wonderful staff.

Cons:

The description did not match the room. It said bottle of water - there was none, there’s a place to fill water on the floor but nowhere to put it. The description said iPod dock - none. Said coffee machine - nope.
The room is dated and feels old and in dire need of renovation.
The room was very very noisy from the street.
Breakfast was ok but the sliced bread was obviously not fresh to the point it had mold on it.

Le ➕️ : l'espace fitness et spa de qualité également, sauna a 62° il aurait pu etre plus chaud

Come essere a casa propria
Pros:

Ottima posizione camera spaziosa e molto confortevole. Letto molto comodo, Ma quello che è stato straordinario in questo hotel la gentilezza e l’umanità dello staff, ho avuto un incidente sul Cotopaxi ho fratturato la caviglia e mi sono stati tutti vicino come una famiglia specialmente Jaky la governante ♥️♥️♥️

Mercure Alameda Quito is a beautiful hotel, where breakfast service starts from 4AM.
Pros:

This is a very beautiful hotel, with staff attending to details and highest level of hospitality. Where else can you find a hotel offering breakfast service starting from 4AM to 10AM? And the food is good with plenty of options. The location is downtown, but not close to the major attractions. However, Quito's Uber service is so affordable which you can go anywhere in the city by less than $10. The rooms are spacious, and new furniture and décor.

Good option to stay in Quito for a few days
Pros:

The suite was spacious and comfortable, but what was included in the room was very disappointing. I think the highlight was the sauna and pool area; it was very relaxing to spend some time there.
The hotel’s location is also good, not very far from the historic city center and other tourist attractions.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the suites don’t include a kitchen or even a microwave oven. I also had to call reception to request an iron and ironing board, and it took some time for them to be delivered. The view from our room was terrible as well. In addition, the area around the hotel felt very unsafe, and I do not recommend going outside in the evenings.

A fabtastic stay great location easy walking distance to the historic town - lots of taxis and smiley people we loved it
