Really lovely stay, best hotel experience I’ve had in ages!
Pros:

Location was perfect, staff were all so lovely, room and hotel was very clean and quiet. Our room had a tower fan which I don’t think any other hotel I’ve been to has offered. The beds were very comfortable and spacious (a huge plus for us is whenever a bed is one bed rather than 2 singles pushed together) and despite a king bed, a single and a travel cot in the room it didn’t feel cramped. Shower was simple and lovely and the bathroom was also spacious. It was very quiet at night and we didn’t hear any noise or other guests at all (other than a guest next door slamming his door which isn’t the hotels fault of course). We didn’t want our room turned down during our stay but every day the cleaning staff left fresh towels outside our door, again something I don’t think I’ve experienced in other hotels. Big up the staff, both receptionists and bar men, all so lovely

Cons:

The only negative thing I would say would be the travel cot for our toddler could have been comfier. There was no proper mattress and she struggled to get to sleep, sleep well and woke up during the night at times, which she never does at home in her own bed

Disappointment

Some of the staff were nice

Cons:

This is not a 4* hotel at all. The interior was horrible and dirty. The plumbing didnt work and was loud. The bathtub was dirty. The first night they couldnt change the room and next day they did move us rooms but new room was still bad. They havent even offered a refund for the disappointment and we checked out early to a new hotel

Excellent city centre location with good breakfast. Had to pay for close by off site parting.
Pros:

Beds were comfortable and good shower. Breakfast buffet had good options and hot food fresh and well stocked. We were able to check in early as room was ready.

Cons:

Would have liked water supplied in the room. No air conditioning meaning had to open the window. As we were on Floor 1 we were awoken by an idiot outside making multiple phone calls at 3.00am

This was our second stay at this hotel and it will not be the last.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Lovely food and beer in the restaurant and bar. Great location and the staff are outstanding.

Perfect for the overnight stay.
Pros:

A well appointed hotel. Staff at reception very pleasant and helpful. No car park of their own but parking available around the corner at a cost. Lifts are a little small but are efficient. Room very clean and tea coffee etc available. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment. Would definitely book again.
