Gutes Hotel in exklusiver Lage, guter Ausstattung und umfangreichem Frühstück.
Pros:

Lage natürlich sehr gut, gegenüber der Porta Nigra und somit am Anfang der Fußgängerzone.
Frühstück außerordentlich umfangreich, alles da, was das Herz begehrt (entspricht Mercure-Standard). Kann man allerdings für einen Preis von 23,50 Euro auch durchaus so erwarten.
Zimmer und Badezimmer sauber und geräumig. Betten gut.

Cons:

Es gab eigentlich nichts zu beanstanden. Laut Info-Blatt haben einige Zimmer eine Minibar (nicht gefüllt, kann man aber als Kühlschrank nutzen). Unser Zimmer hatte leider keinen. Wäre bei den heißen Tagen wünschenswert gewesen, ist jetzt aber kein wirklicher Negativpunkt.

Good hotel for one overnight stay on a road trip - when it is not too hot.
Pros:

The location of the hotel is excellent and the parking underground with direct elevator access to the hotel is great. Beds were very comfortable and the windows - when closed - provide great sound proofing. View on Porta Nigra was superb - especially at night with lightning. It is nice you can open the windows in multiple settings. Staff was very friendly. Bedroom was nicely appointed - although a bit dated.

Cons:

The terrible smells - in the hallways but especially the bathroom smell was terrible. There is a plumbing issue and that system and the bathroom urgently needs renovation. We covered the drain in the bathroom with a towel and the trashcan which helped dampen the smell somewhat. The airco does not work well and there is no precise thermostat to control the room temperature. Even though we turned it on (and it only works with windows shut which is an issue due to the above mentioned smell) we woke up due to the heat in the middle of the night. The airco system needs work too. I would not stay more than one night.

Pros:

Parkeergarage, locatie en airconditioning. Kamer best ruim. Eigenlijk een prima formule hotel met alle onpersoonlijke behandelingen die je daarbij kunt verwachten.

Cons:

Onze kamer was half gerenoveerd dus moderner dan op de foto’s . We misten wel een koelkastje. Ontbijt is te gewoontjes voor de prijs.

Hôtel standard de la chaîne Mercure, facile d'accès et bien situé.
Pros:

Confortable chambre classique, climatisée et bien insonorisée car en étage élevé donnant sur la Porta Nigra.
La situation géographique est pratique pour visiter la zone piétonne sans difficulté.
Un parking payant est disponible derrière l’hôtel

Cons:

Il est dommage que le choix de la décoration intérieure soit si standardisée, une fois la porte fermée on ne peut pas deviner dans quel pays l'on se trouve. Une pointe d'originalité personnaliserait l’hôtel et donnerait un peu de charme à cet hébergement assez ancien.
